Wonderful stay

The owner’s son was very helpful. My car was stuck at the driveway beside the cottage at night. He quickly came out and helped me get out. Excellent customer service. The room is also clean and neat with a great lake view.

Beautiful and calm

The place was very nice and clean. The view of the lake was beautiful. Great place to relax, would definitely recommend!

Très beau lieu qui mériterait de meilleures infrastructures.

L’emplacement est très sympa, isolé donc très calme. La cuisine et les équipements communs sont appréciables. Parking sur place. Bonne réactivité pour le check in.

Le logement est vétuste et aurait besoin d’un gros rafraichissement. La propreté était correcte sans plus.

Parfait pour décrocher!!

L'emplacement est vraiment exceptionnel lorsqu'on aime la tranquillité, la nature et le calme. La cuisine bien équipée est vraiment un plus. Bravo!!

le lodge a manqué d'amour pendant des années. Malheureusement il y a du rattrapage à faire mais rien d'impossible.

Très reposant!

Très belle place au bord du lac. Lit très grand et très confortable.

Dans la suite, il faudrait la machine à café pour le matin. Les fenêtres s’ouvraient mais il fallait les refermer manuellement de l’extérieur.

A fantastic place to stay

The location is amazing - kitchen is well equipped. Bedroom was lovely and the gas barbecue on the terrace is great. Really enjoyed the canoe

With several people using the kitchen we ran out of forks - could do with a bit more cutlery

We had a wonderful stay.

Loved the view, enough activities to keep kids engaged. Clean kitchen facility. Boats were also provided. Over all loved it.

charming old house to stay for one night

The Lodge du Lac is somewhere between a budget hotel and a youth hostel. It was nice to immediately feel at home enough to walk around the place, check out the garden, go into the kitchen/dining room and use the fridge, utensils etc. The place is old but quite charming and clean. The canoes and pedalo available for the guests were much appreciated to play on the water and the lac is nice to swim in too. While the other guests had not arrived yet, it was very quiet except for the birds :-)

Once the guests arrived, the noise is somewhat annoying as the hotel has wooden floors and all the windows are open so you can easily hear the conversations in the other rooms or on the surrounding terrace that runs in front of the different rooms.

le lodge du lac has everything one needs and same time affordable.Very comfortable bed and bedding,common kitchen very welcoming it is very well equipped all kind of appliances,host is generous and there is coffee,tea and all kind of other things.There are extra tables accommodate guests also nice relaxing room to enjoy view at Lake Superior.

Cute and comfortable lodge for a good value.

Check-in was seamless and the directions were clear. The location is great; it’s so beautiful. The room was really cute and homey. Comfortable bed.

I didn’t like the washroom situation. The sink is not in the same room as the toilet which I find very odd. There is a vent in the washroom with the sink and bath, but no vent in the toilet room. You have to walk all the way around the hallway to get from one to the other. The two washrooms share a wall so I don’t understand why they didn’t just make it one room. I also got splinters on the wood. I don’t think the wood is varnished.

Comfortable, relaxed and quiet stay at this great lodge with amazing staff.

Wonderful location at the lake with lots of space in the backyard. There are trails close by for some outdoor activities. The staff is incredibly kind and always available to help. It has been a very relaxed and comfortable stay and we definitely plan to come back during summertime.

nice view on the lake, but not from the room

Could not fin the place at night. No well lit signs. Driving in steep, dangerous terrain. Had to call, still couldn't get correct directions. Arrive before dusk!

Nice retreat in the woods close to Tremblant. Host was friendly and accommodating.

Room was a bit rustic, needs some renovations.

Easy check in. Great location on a charming quite and quite lake.

Peaceful and quiet. Petal boat was pleasant. Beautiful view and outdoor comfort. Easy check in.

Clogged tub drain and plastic shower curtain. No A/C and spotty wifi. Damp smell from bathroom floor. Curtains not dark enough. No privacy on side door next to toilet.

The outside beautiful view the next morning just charmed me and the inconveniences seemed minor.

The view was absolutely beautiful ! If you sat on the balcony or the lakefront it was just amazing. If you are looking for the beauty of Quebec countryside it is ideal ! Bath, shower and bed were very clean and comfortable. I searched the premises to find a staff member and finally did. He was charming, polite and very friendly.

The place is run down. The carpet appeared very dirty. And there is no ventilation in the separate bathroom which is very unpleasant. No TV but has WiFi. Space is minimal. There is no air conditioning. We were lucky because it was cool. No extra sheet and blankets. I did not find the staff to ask him for the extras and it was late and was very uncomfortable to call so late. Due to this it was cold during the night. I suggest that extra sheets, blankets and pillows should be in the room.

Lovely trip to the lake!

Recently renovated little hotel/airbnb right on the lake. Clean & quiet! The kitchen is large and well-equipped & stocked - do bring groceries as the nearest supermarket is a 15 min drive away. Boats (canoe/ kayaks/ paddleboat) are available to take out on the lake. The house has a common room with games & puzzles if the weather isn't great. We stayed at the same time as another family was there, and ended up sharing a table/ food and drink with them - that was a nice bonus to staying here, I recommend bringing extra food to be convivial. If you plan to swim, bring towels.

Would have been nice to have extra towels in the room - or available in the common room - so that we could dry off after a swim and still have dry towels to use for showering.

We hope to come again.

We loved our stay at Le Lodge du Lac! We enjoyed beautiful nature, tranquility of the place, comfy room decorated in natural style and common kitchen area where we chatted with one lovely family. Also, we enjoyed swimming in Lac Sauvage.

we have been occupying the Gadelle room, it has two beds, one of the two was broken 😱😱😱 see attache picts
