a really lovely place to stay. it helped make our weekend very special.

the standard of the fittings and the fixtures was very high. a lovely old building very tastefully modernised.

the parking! my cousin could barely get out through the gate. scratched his wing on the gate!! it was the angle coming out of the “boatyard”. how he got in the evening before I don’t know!!

Beautiful apartment

This is a gorgeous basement conversion in a lovely big old house, full of vintage charm. It feels hidden away and has its own private Courtyard (hence the name). It is just a joy to stay in and had everything we needed. Although we were only there for a few days the washing machine and tumble dryer came in handy as we had our baby and two year old with us. One of the bedrooms was big enough for our toddler to sleep in as well, on an additional single mattress and the hosts even provided a bedrail for him. And those free-standing baths with the feet, wow - we have to get one, it's a need not a want!!

Superb

Beautiful apartment. You can see that there's a lot of love gone into decorating the place - it doesn't feel like just a holiday rental. Clean, spacious and fully equipped. 2 mins walk from the Village. Didn't meet the hosts in person but they were so lovely to deal with and gave us lots of info by email and a late check out.

If you aren't familiar with the area like ourselves, the little slip road up to the apartment is hard to find and there's no street lights so coming home at night I would advise you to bring a torch so you don't slip or trip. I had a torch on my phone which was handy. Only suggestion I would have is to put a lock on the bathroom door. We were friends sharing so we had to have our own little system of putting something hanging outside of the bathroom door when it was in use.

Beautiful apartment near the sea, with a very welcoming and helpful host.

A real gem of a property close to Strangford harbour. The host was very helpful and welcoming, and apartment was spacious and bright. We had a wonderful weekend and would definitely return again.
