Rock Castle Residency is a great place to stay. Excellent location, very nice helpful people and fantastic comfortable rooms. Breakfast is good, could be better but food for lunch and dinner is very tasteful. Gonbo is very friendly and has a good tast of humor. And does arrange trips around Ladak that are near perfect.

The staff was always on hand to help out or just to chat. Very friendly. The guesthouse was about 10 mins from Leh market, so pretty close. My room was fairly quiet, not too much outside noise coming through, some dogs barking but this is India. The food was always top notch, good breakfast great dinners.
I'm looking forward to coming back in the near future. 10/10.

The host was warm and welcoming. Gonbo arranged all the permits and a courteous, safe and friendly driver to go around Ladakh. Recommend to stay here if you are in Leh.

The room was very big and spacious
Bathroom was clean
Very limited option in food, they set up buffet for dinner but only had a cauliflower aloo sabji dal and rice for vegetarian, the sabji was almost finished with few potatoes remaining, also heater charges are additional 500 in the room which does not even heat the room at all as the room is too big .
