It could have been perfect, but.. beware of extra charges when booking with kids / extra beds

The structure is beautifully laid out, the rooms are spacious, the pool area and the restaurants portico are perfect for relaxation. The breakfast buffet was well stacked and there was a great variety of freshly prepared items. The waiters in the restaurants were brilliant!

We booked a room for two adults and our daughter(7) and the total price given here was then altered at checkout due to the fact that we had to pay for the extra bed that was already in the room (as indicated in the pictures). At check-in there was no information given about the extra charge of 50 Euro for the extra bed which was already in the room, even though the site here says "Extra bed upon request". The owner was not willing to compromise more than a "discount" of 50 Euro on this, stating that the extra bed policy here on booking states the extra costs involved. In the end we paid 100 Euro more on a three day visit!!! Furthermore, we noticed a slight infestation of silver fish in the room and some signs of wear and tear.

Passable, however wont be coming back.

The exterior, the cleaningness, this one lady was was really nice too us, offering to make more of breakfast than that was offered. spacious rooms, nice view.

the first thing we have experienced was the owner being irritated @ some guests who came before us, which was not a good sign. upon arriving to the room the shower was broken, but we did manage to get ourselves clean regardless. next morning, the was another dissapointement waiting for us - breakfast was awful. the bread was stale, the yogurth was two weeks passed due date, ham was stinky and there was a bug inside the bread basket. however, this lady offered to make eggs, which was a nice gesture. other than that, the second day was even worse. the same yogurth was still there. plus. it was a wedding reception @ the hotel which was so so loud that we could not fall asleep until 2 am. @ least the could warn us. we booked this hotel after reading GREAT reviews for the restaurant, but this was a huge dissapointement.

Good stay overall but overpriced for off season

The property is clean and well maintained. It has a nice garden and during summer when you can enjoy the pool, it’s probably even more enjoyable

The location is quite remote (which might be good or bad, depending on what you are looking for). The beach close by it’s too wild so it can’t actually be enjoyed(access is difficult and there js no proprr access). Our visit was during Easter break and it felt very off season. The breakfast was good and omlette tasty, but the coldcuts platters was covered with plastic foiled which we removed, we had to ask for omlette and it made us felt a bit like we were bothering being there for breakfast.

Very nice hotel

Fantastic hotel runned by a family. Rooms are large and clean. The hotel has a nice pool and garden. Breakfast was very nice. everything was fresh and made by the Chef himself. We really enjoyed our short stay.

Sometimes you have to wait long at the reception.

Breakfast was very good! Enjoyed it. Nice and big swimming Pool. Enormous rooms with quiet and comfortable air conditioning. Close by Pula, some gorgeous beaches, ...

Live music in the evening. Can be enjoyed by many but a bit too loud for me personally.

Great hotel with amazing restaurant, I can only recommend this hotel.

This is one of the hotels which you’d advice to anyone looking for a stay in the region. The hotel is very nice, clean with a big family room and modern. Silent airco at night, and the family room had (for the parents) a huge bed. Very nice swimming pool where we didn’t experience any chlorine, so nice go swim in. Breakfast was great in the morning, with an amazing restaurant (with nice view on the pool). The father is an amazing chef. Location was perfect for us, easy to go to Medulin, Pula or Kamenjak. Or to go and buy some wines.

This is all about some details, pool beds could use some mattresses. As we were there on summer holiday, some places to hang wet towels of swimming gear would have been nice. But still, a place we’d like to return to.

We recommend

We had a great stay! Room is spacious and clean, parking is free, pool is great after a long day at the beach. Breakfast is just what you need to start a good day. We tried a couple of times the restaurant as well and the food was excellent. In general the property is very well maintained, the staff is very helpful and Mario particularly gave us some nice tips. During our stay in August it was the perfect getaway and we relaxed in good conditions considering Covid. We recommend!

We did not mind and we knew, sea coast is not really within 10 min walking distance. But we took the car and explored the area. We recommend Kamenjac area as well as Brijuni islands or the cities of Pula and Rovinj.

Good food, good room!

I had some local dishes for dinner and it was delicious, great chef! Rooms are spacious and clean.

I could find only foreign TV channels on my room TV, no Croatian channels.
