Amazing location near the harbor. Luxurious terrace for eating breakfast, snacks, and hanging out. Perfect size for two people who travelled without a car. Easy access to restaurants, ferry, bike rentals, boats
As someone mentioned in another review, there is an online “fast” check-in and no personnel onsite. Visitors basically need to sign a rental contract, send in their IDs electronically, and sign off that they accept a list of possible damage fees. Compared to other hotels and apartments, this is the most intensive process I’ve encountered and requires communication with the property agency outside of booking.com
The building is accessed via code - one way to open the front door and a separate way with a 10 digit number to open the apartment door. So it is “modern” but requires you have a working phone/computer with you at all times (no physical key)
Unlike other properties, trash is not taken care of by the management. You will be fined if you leave any trash in the apartment upon leaving. There is a process of sorting trash and leaving it by the street for city pick up - but it didn’t work during my visit so we needed to take the trash to a public receptacle on the street ourselves. This was a shame because we needed to sort trash, plastics, compost, glass separately as asked by the management and in the end we had to trash most of it in a city trash can. I saw later that I could toss some of the things like glass into a private restaurant’s glass bin near the street, but there are no public bins.
Despite these minor inconveniences, it was a great place, management was friendly and available via WhatsApp to sort through these topics. I would stay here again but just leaving the details above so other guests know.

The location was excellent, walking distance to old town and ferry. The terrace is the best part, even though it was cool and windy during our stay in July we used it a lot and ate our meals out there and people watched. Bathroom was impeccably clean.
The beds are very uncomfortable and the pull out was not suitable for a 19 year old. It’s designed similar to a trampoline with the springs around the edges holding the canvas base, and a thin mattress on top. It had no support and she ended up sleeping on the lounger from outside, which was much more comfortable.
Master bed, too, was not comfortable and you can feel every move your partner makes. Master bedroom also had a strange ceiling light that glowed at night so the room was never completely dark.
Although kitchen was well equipped there is no knife for slicing meat/veg prior to cooking. Host told us to get our own if we need it but we couldn’t find one so just used the steak knives, which was not ideal. Although nicely decorated we felt there is too much stuff around that leaves renter with little space for their stuff (a printer, a giant decorative bowl. Etc.)
Host has a check in process he calls “fast check-in” but it’s the longest one we have encountered in Italy or anywhere else.
