Our stay at Desert Villa Merzouga was one of the highlights of our trip to Morocco. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with genuine warmth and hospitality that made us feel more like family than hotel guests.
The hotel is beautifully designed, exceptionally clean, and perfectly located just a short walk from the breathtaking Erg Chebbi dunes. The rooms are spacious, comfortable, and equipped with excellent air conditioning, making them a perfect retreat after a day in the desert.
One of our favorite features was the heated swimming pool, which was ideal for relaxing both during the day and in the evening. The rooftop terrace offers stunning panoramic views of the dunes, especially at sunrise and sunset.
The food was outstanding—fresh, authentic Moroccan cuisine prepared with care and served with exceptional attention to detail. Every meal was delicious.
What truly sets Desert Villa apart is the passion of the owner. They take the time to share their knowledge of the desert, recommend the best activities without any pressure, and ensure every experience is authentic. Whether it’s a camel trek, a 4x4 adventure, or simply enjoying the peaceful surroundings, they make your stay unforgettable.
If you’re looking for a boutique hotel that combines luxury, authenticity, and heartfelt hospitality, Desert Villa Merzouga is the perfect choice. I would not hesitate to stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the Sahara.

Our stay at Desert Villa was absolutely unforgettable! From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with genuine warmth and exceptional hospitality. The rooms were spotless, beautifully designed, and offered stunning views of the desert.
The food was fresh, delicious, and prepared with great care. Every meal was a highlight of our stay. What we especially appreciated was that the team never pressured us to book any activities, they simply offered helpful information and let us decide at our own pace, which made the experience feel relaxed and genuine.
Even after checking out at midday, they kindly invited us to stay and enjoy the comfortable lounge with Wi-Fi and books, and we were still able to use the heated pool until it was time to leave. That level of generosity and hospitality really made a lasting impression.
If you’re looking for a peaceful, luxurious, and authentic stay in Merzouga, Desert Villa is the perfect choice. Thank you to the entire team for making our trip so special—we can’t wait to come back!

Our stay at Desert Villa Merzouga was absolutely perfect from beginning to end. The villa is beautiful, peaceful, and exceptionally clean. The rooms were spacious, comfortable, and spotless, and everything was exactly as described.
The staff were incredibly welcoming and made us feel at home from the moment we arrived. They were always available to help with anything we needed and went above and beyond to make our stay special.
The breakfast was fresh, delicious, and plentiful, with a great variety of local products. The location is ideal, offering stunning views of the Erg Chebbi dunes and a relaxing atmosphere away from the crowds.
What impressed us most was the attention to detail and the genuine hospitality. It is clear that the owners take great pride in maintaining the property to a very high standard.
If you’re planning a trip to Merzouga, I cannot recommend Desert Villa Merzouga enough. This was one of the best hotel experiences we’ve had in Morocco, and we would definitely stay here again. Thank you for making our visit so memorable!
