Rooms look nicely renovated. There was a phone charging nook, reading lamp and room light switch next to the bed for easy access. Each room has its own air conditioning unit so you can set your own temperature. Breakfast is free and included as part of your stay.
Right across the road is a huge supermarket, and within 6 minutes you can also walk to the station and bus terminals. The bus stop for the highway bus for Sendai is on the same road too.
Coin operated laundries was cheap to operate (200 yen) but you will need to add 30 yen for the detergent. The another 100 yen for 30 minutes use of the tumble dryer.
There is only 1 lift for the entire building. Not a problem for this property since this is Yamagata which isn't super busy like the big cities.

The room that we stayed was clean I think it was just renovated.
The breakfast was not good at all so as the staff.
