Bloomin' Moon hostel & cafe, Chiang Mai Old Town

Everything is so perfect for this stay, location is perfect ( near to 7-11, self service laundry, money changer, post office, temples) all within walking distance! Staffs are so lovely and very very friendly, free breakfast provided was so good with so much selections!! Room was so spacious and comfortable. It was one of my best stays in Chiang Mai and I couldn’t wait to visit again. I wish I could extend my stay here even longer! They even gave us a little hand drawn sticker when u checked out. We feel very well taken care of during my stay here, thank you soo much!!

Nothing that I don’t like to be honest! I would even bring my family if I come to Chiang Mai next time! But the only concern would be only be no elevator for elderlies. Wouldn’t matter if climbing stairs isn’t a concern!

stayed here for six nights and had a wonderful experience! This family-run hostel has a cozy and welcoming atmosphere. There’s only one dorm room, located right above the café owned by the same hosts，so convenient! The staff were incredibly friendly and even helped carry my luggage upstairs. The breakfast served each morning was varied and delicious, a great start to the day. Although there's no washing machine on-site, there’s a self-service laundromat just across the street. A nice bonus: the female dorm has its own balcony, perfect for drying clothes. The room was cleaned daily, and both the dorm and common areas were kept very tidy. I’d definitely come back again!

What do i say , i travelled a lot mostly solo , have stayed in lot of hostel and if i want to pick no 1 , it would be this one. Staff friendly , clean , best breakfast and as its cafe cum hostel bf is so tasty , safe for solo traveler, location is very good. I am going to book this stay again , for my stay with them , i felt like i am living in drama , everything aesthetic . 200 out of 100

I really wanted to love this hostel, but I just didn't. - The cleaning at this hostel was non-existing, so I really do not understand previous reviews. I was here for 5 nights, and the dorm room was NOT cleaned even once. When I checked out after the 5 days, the floor in the dorm room was full of several layers of hair, dust and other dirt. - The female bathroom was full of ants in one of the toilet cubicles, in one of the showers and on the sink. The bathrooms were never properly cleaned while I was there. I've never seen so many hairs in a bathroom in such a small hostel before. It was disgusting. One of the days they only added more toilet paper and eventually, during the afternoon when the bins were absolutely overflowing, they finally decided to empty them. No cleaning at all. My feet were constantly black because the floors were not cleaned. - The beds are hard as a rock. - Only 2 staff members actually speaks English which makes communication difficult. - On the first 3 mornings I had a free bottle of water with my breakfast. On the 4th morning I didn't get a bottle of water. On the 5th morning they asked me to pay 10 baht for my bottle of water... - The "common area" in the hostel is a reading room on the 2nd floor that is open to the public. It was usually occupied by local students, so you couldn't hang out here or get work done. It seems like the hostel is more interested in the café they're running downstairs. It seems to be where they're putting their energy, and they're therefore neglecting the hostel part of it which is then suffering. The hostel has great potential, but at the moment it's just not up to standard, it's very dirty, and I personally wouldn't stay here again.
