Peaceful stay and great hospitality

We had a wonderful stay at Ocean views villas in north Matemwe. The villas are spacious, comfortable, and well-equipped with everything you need. The private garden and pool are perfect for relaxing. The staff are friendly, helpful, and attentive to every detail. The breakfast is delicious and varied, and the location is ideal for exploring the beautiful Matemwe beach and the nearby attractions. We highly recommend Ocean views villas for anyone looking for a peaceful getaway in Zanzibar.

Beste Unterkunft auf unserer Sansibarrundreise

Einfach ein Traum! 2 wunderschöne Apartments in einem tropischen Garten mit großem Pool. Der Inhaber Laucin ist ein wunderbarer Koch! Es ist nicht weit zum nächsten Hotel, aber das ist Quatsch. Nachmittags kann man aber da gut Kaffee trinken. Alles ist Superclean,wofür die charmante Rut sorgt,die auch das gute Frühstück serviert

Tranquillità comodità e qualità

Appartamento privato con uso della piscina Immersi nel verde con l' oceano raggiungibile in 5 minuti a piedi. Vi piacerà la tranquillità e l' aria famigliare che si respira Appartamento sempre pulito. Ogni mattina una colazione completa e buonissima ci aspettava nel nostro piccolo cortile La sera cena a lume di candela preparata secondo l' estro del grande padrone di casa. Lasciavamo scegliere a lui, tutto sempre super buono! Ci ha coccolati come si deve! Porteremo nel cuore bellissimi ricordi!

Niente Zanzibar vissuta così... è magica!

Bardzo udany pobyt

Cudowne miejsce, czysto i przyjemnie, pyszne jedzenie , przyjazny właściciel i nienachalna obsługa. Słychać też śpiew ptaków od rana , a nie jazgot wron jak w innej części wyspy co byliśmy. Polecamy !

Lieu paisible

Laucin est adorable, il nous a donné beaucoup de conseils et parle très bien français. Vous avez la possibilité de commander un dîner, c'était excellent ! Lieu très calme, piscine agréable. Très proche de la plage.

Petit havre de paix à Matemwe

Hôte accueillant et charmant. Nous avons apprécié le lieu mais également toutes les interactions. Les repas proposés sur place sont un vrai délice. Je recommande sans aucune hésitation !

A Home away from Home📌

Location is wat i needed for the holiday its a quiet place and near to the small private and nice beach The owne Mr Laucin was the best he made our stay to go well anything we need he was sharp and deliver it on time we had amazing dinner every thing was amazing and his Assistance Ruth she is the best serving us breakfast and everything we ask with a beautiful smile😁The pool was also the Best ting ever 😍

An absolutely amazing experience with lots of food, peace, privacy, quiet and swimming under the moonlight.

I loved everything about Matemwe Ocean View Villas! I love how remote from all the zanzibar tourist attraction noise it is. It’s perfectly quiet, serene and beautiful. I felt like I could truly breathe here. Laucin a the absolute legend of a host. He shared his Moroccan food with me from his family and the food portion sizes were HUGE and DELICIOUS! Nowhere else compares in zanzibar for us. We even cancelled a reservation to stay an extra night and our only regret is choosing to go somewhere else for our last 2 nights. Next time, we’ll have our entire stay here. My favourite part was swimming in the pool under nothing but the moonlight and stars above us. It was absolutely amazing. My husband and I enjoyed so much that we barely took photos!

I would highly recommend this location!

Laucin, the host, went above and beyond! We arrive late due to flight delays. He cooked us a wonderful seafood dinner, made arrangements for transportation, snorkeling and dinner another night. Breakfast was delicious and catered to our needs. The pool is wonderful, it is a close walk to the beach if you are looking for ocean. Laucin took care of everything!

The host... Beyond amazing. Top notch service doesn't even begin to describe it. I had a bad sunburn one day and the host went out and cut fresh aloe from his garden to soothe the burns. Meals were delicious! Super relaxing. The pool was phenomenal. Treat yourself to some pampering and stay here!

North is best....East is what u make of it

Quaint little private place . Very serene and peaceful The place was very tastefully decorated..rustic...it was my style completely The HOST was exceptional and his service 👏..his FOOD ...hats off to him. Host accommodated us all the way ...being a Muslim family we have lots of issues with the food we eat and the preparation of it... host accommodated us with a smile.. Even though it was different from our preferred on THE BEACH STAYS. THE FOOD MADE UP FOR IT...

The beach is a 4 minute walk away...and it's not a very easy task especially for old and with kids... But if u a young healthy fit couple i guess it could work for u. The tides are in most of the best parts of the day and the ocean is not very user friendly...seaweed etc...but if u like to sit and soak up the sun....it will do... It was the last leg of our journey so we didn't mind ot using the beach... Very remote and difficult to find places to buy water and drinks. The host does keep though Overall it's a beautiful place

Exceptional

We really enjoyed our staying at Matemwe Ocen View. Laucin is a fantastic host, his attention to details, quality of service it is comparable to a 5 stars Hotel. The level of cleaning is difficult to find it in any place in Europe, his cooking is superb and we even find a way to exchange culinary tricks. And do we want to talk about his margaritas.....wow!!!!! The villa is beautiful, comfortable and big and it is just 6/7 minutes from matemwe beach. We really enjoyed spending time at his villa where you can find a very nice swimming pool and a beautifully cared garden. We found a great deal of privacy, and we enjoyed spending time with Laucin the host who delighted us with his stories. And thank as well to Ney Laucin's wife. Good luck guys! You rock! The owner is amazingly kind, the place is very private and quiet we had the feeling of being at home. The facilities are superb the design is fantastic. We very much appreciated the homemade meals they were delicious. No rush no stress hakuna matata

Perfect place for privacy and calm down after a hard sunny day in Zanzibar

wonderful place to calm down u have a lot of space with all things you need specially the fridge was rly useful 😂😊 you have your own small villa and a lot of Privacy big pool a own terrace. and the owner is Rly friendly and engaged you should Test his food trust me :)

Will come again...

Ney and Laucin are the perfect hosts. If you want to stay in a peaceful and well-kept retreat, we highly recommend their little paradise. From ordering a 4min30sec egg for breakfast to having a succulent seafood bbq for dinner, we were spoiled like belonging to the family.

Our stay at Matemwe Ocean View Villas was perfect, we enjoy it to the end. The villa’s location is great and only few minutes walk to the beach where you can have view of Mnemba Island. If you are looking for an adventure, the only thing which you need is to get in touch with Ney or Alusin. They have connections for any activity you wish. They arrange a Mnemba island tour for us. What’s more, Ney arranged a private appointment for me to have African braid hair style, the hair stylists came to our villa garden. The garden is beautiful and the villa has big living room, a kitchen and is decorated in African style. Large, clean pool boost our mood in the mornings. Ney and Alusin are very friendly, we enjoyed talking with them a lot. And we we’re lucky enough to have a chance to have their home-made lunch. The breakfast is just delicious with good choice of fresh fruits. We will definitely come back here anytime we visited Zanzibar.

Large, comfortable and peaceful property

Lovely large living space, comfy seating indoor and out, and a walk-in in wardrobe area with shelves for clothes; quiet, clean, comfortable and totally peaceful. Large, clean pool and big garden. Ney and Laucin are very friendly and go out of their way to make you feel at home and help with your stay. Breakfast is delicious with a good choice and served fresh at a time you choose - perfect. Beaches are a short walk away and you can eat in hotels along the beach or enjoy Ney's delicious home-cooked food! We loved our stay and it was so nice to chat and learn so much about the island too thank you!

The ocean view villas are your place to be if you are looking for peace and quiet in a beautiful homy atmosphere.

The place is truly amazing! Its beautiful, clean, well maintained and the hosts are so welcoming. The ocean view villas are not like any regular hotel. You will find yourself on a private property with only a few rooms and a very special atmosphere.

Excellent! The villa was perfect for our trip- lovely decor, clean and set in a beautiful quiet garden with a pool which we had to ourselves. The beach was a short walk away so it was perfect for us as we were diving locally. Ney was such a good host, the breakfasts were just delicious and we particularly enjoyed the fresh juice each morning. This place was fantastic value for money, would recommend to anyone!

I will be back!!

I had a brilliant stay! The environment is authentic and breathtaking. The villa is cozy and clean. Ideal to be or to work as I did. After my shorter working day, I was able to enjoy aquatic sports, great diving spot close by, fallowed by meal or drinks :) Owners are very helpful and friendly and they have a deep knowledge of Zanzibar. I will definitely come back! Thank you!
