The balcony offers a fantastic, unobstructed view of the Matterhorn, making it possible to capture the spectacular alpenglow at sunrise and the beautiful blue hour without even leaving the apartment. The apartment itself is spacious and comfortable. The TV has Netflix and other entertainment options, and there was a generous supply of toilet paper, shampoo and shower gel, which was very convenient.
Only one rubbish bag was provided, which is definitely not enough for guests staying several nights. Guests should not be expected to buy their own rubbish bags during their stay. There is also no washing machine or drying rack/facilities for clothes. The apartment is quite a long walk from the train station, around 15 minutes, and walking uphill while carrying groceries back to the apartment can be quite tiring.
