Sucio feo barrio, peligroso de acceder

El apartamento era una mierda llena de cucarachas y cosas sin terminar de construir, mal olor, muebles que estan rotos etc. No vale ni €10!!! Es una gran estafa voy a ubicar a los que nos hemos sentido estafados para hacer una denuncia a la policía de turismo de Esmirna ...

Location in terms of being near to tourist attractions, but the neighbourhood wasn’t the best and very steep hills to the city centre.

I’ve been to several countries, stayed in different types of accommodations including hostels but never seen this much dirty bathroom before. Overall, the house is not taken care of at all. The bathroom hasn’t been cleaned properly god knows for how long. There was no Wi-Fi. They “pretend” to try to fix it but it wasn’t fixed in the end. The terraces haven’t been cleaned for so long. It’s on top of a hill, if you rent a car or have a car you will struggle to bring your car and park and your car will be scratched for sure, ours was. There is only one bathroom with toilet, with an extremely filthy and dirty shower and it’s downstairs. The toilet seat was broken. The stairs are quite high. If you’re with an elderly person he/she will struggle. There was a weird smell in the house. There was no batteries in the air con remote when we arrived and not enough toilet paper, they brought the toilet paper later on but we had to buy the batteries as we needed the air con asap Only good thing about this place is it’s near the main tourist attractions, but the stairs and the steep hills to/from the area is a killer. The beds were uncomfortable, cheep style and very bouncy. The host was kind and tried to help but it wasn’t enough. Remember this is not a hotel, nobody will come and clean and change your towels on a daily basis. I’m planning to compliant to Ministry of Tourism about this place, they shouldn’t be running it like this.

Cheap place and not clean, would only recommend for group with low standards

The only positive side is that the accommodation is quite big, and you can host up to 6 people. Beds are comfortable. But I was going to stay by myself, and the cleanliness, comfort, and matching my expectations was not there. I did had to leave after my first night there.

The pictures are probably from like 10-15 years ago, since than, most of furnitures are broken (cupboards, handles, lamps), the air conditioner somewhat work, but there is NO wifi compare to what the add says !!! The neighbourhood is not so safe (as per locals report), and I did not feel safe either. The cleanliness is far from OK, the bathroom was not cleaned for a long long time, there was mold in the shower, a handful of hair and two hair bands in the soap holder, the toilet seat is broken... As I said, I did relocate myself after a night when I was suppose to stay for a week. now if you travel on a very cheap budget for 5-6 people, maybe this place is for you.

Amazing place to stay

The house is located in a charming old neighborhood in the heart of Konak, just a short walk from all the major attractions, including the Izmir Clock Tower, Konak Square, and the Grand Bazaar.The house itself is beautifully restored and decorated with traditional furnishings.

Cozy and Enjoyable Stay

I was very satisfied my stay. The apartment was clean, lovely decorated and equipped with everything you need. The location is perfect in the old city center. The place is closed to all local attractions .

I had an amazing time staying in this lovely and well-equipped home. The house was clean, comfortable, and beautifully furnished, with all the amenities I needed for a relaxing and enjoyable stay.

Kitchen utensils were missing, thanks to the host who provided them during the day.

Horrible place

Partial refund from booking.com customer support

It was a disaster. The apartment was dirty, cold, smelled of cigarette smoke and there were insect and cockroaches in the bathroom. It was not even safe to stay there because thebfloor was uneven and the stairs and the floor in upper floor declinded a little bit everytime one of us have stepped on it. The place looked more like a construction site before the works than a livable apartment. Even though we were denied any kind of refund from the host, we rather moved out almost immediately and found another place to stay.

Life around but in the flat itself it’s completely quiet. Beautiful home and would love to visit again in the future.. like it does on the pictures.

It’s clean and specious.

The location is not good. The neighborhood doesn’t seem safe and the streets are too narrow. It’s difficult to park your car. The check out timing is too early.

spacious modern super clean duplex house located in the heart of the city

the place was spotless clean with cute modern minimal decorations. very spacious!!! we had 3 bedrooms to ourselves including a nice backyard. the owner was super helpful with our questions and handy

Satisfied with the stay. Not exceptional but no major complaints.

The apartment was clean and immaculate. It is a duplex with two bedrooms on the upper floor. Fresh linens and towels had already been placed. The location was close to the Historical Bazar and Clock Tower as well as the Tram station. The balconies were well managed though we didn't use them. Food and grocery delivery services deliver at the address so that was a definite positive. The place proved very economical compared to some of the hotels. The host was very responsive and communicated clearly.

The location is very hard to reach by car as all the streets including the one the apartment is located on are very narrow. Walking requires traversing some very steep steps and carrying luggage all the way up was tough, especially with kids. Despite the overall cleanliness, there were dead plants in the pots on the upper floor and moldy pumpkin vases which should have been removed asap. There are a couple of local shops around but nothing too elaborate. The cutlery and the dishes were very old and in more than a few instances, needed to be washed again.
