This fantastic home known as 'The Swell House' sits up on Brooten Mountain and offers spectacular views of Nestucca Bay. It is perfect for larger families and group who want to get away, relax, and enjoy time together taking in the incredible views, playing games and making memories together. The main level of the home boasts the kitchen, dining, and living area while having a few of the bedrooms as well. There are six and a half baths throughout. The four upstairs bedroom all have en-suite bathrooms which makes it fantastic for multi generational family stays or groups of friends that enjoy privacy as well. Please refer to the floor plans for exact layout and square footage. With a private hot tub, firepit, gas grill, and bocce ball court, you are sure to enjoy the outdoors. Inside, you will find a bathroom in all six of the main bedrooms. At over three thousand square feet there is plenty of room for everyone to relax in this open and bright setting. Pacific City is a short drive to the west, where you can find lots to do. Of course, there are miles of beach to explore, on foot or by motorized vehicle. Fishing is great here with several boat launches available, or you can rent a kayak for a day trip. Nestucca Bay is also a favorite spot of locals for clamming during low tide. Restaurants, grocery, shopping, and more are within easy walking distance of downtown Pacific City. The Swell House can't be beat for those looking to enjoy all the Oregon Coast has to offer. PET FRIENDLY: **There is a $100 pet fee per pet with a maximum of $300 (3 pets). Please be aware failure to adhere to the house rules as it pertains to pets may result in cancellation of the booking with no refund. ** This property includes a noise alert monitoring system in order to ensure that neighborhood noise levels are respected. Again, please realize we want every group to enjoy their time, laugh, have fun and make memories. These devices are only to ensure noise levels don't reach a threshold that bothers our neighbors. Also, please note there is no electronic video surveillance monitoring pools or spas, or on the interior of the house. The property was wonderful for our group of 14 people. Everyone appreciated having their own bathroom. I paid a lot of money for our time there, but there is much maintenance that needs to be done, principally to the outside. It did appear that some upgrade has been started as one deck is new. A new kitchen counter and new/or resurfaced dining table needs to be accomplished. otherwise, the inside was very clean. Hot tub was serviced just prior to our check-in.

This property is great for a family & we were greeted with a nice bottle of local wine upon arrival. Everyone had a bed & their own bathroom and that was huge. The kitchen could have been bigger for the size of the house and the house could use some TLC. Internet was horrible and we had to use our own wifi from phones to watch TV all weekend. The water pressure and plumbing drains were equally bad. When I brought this up to our contact, I was told that "yes the internet is bad and the house was on a well!" No offered resolution or any compensation. So, most showered very little and I had to pay overages on my own internet. This was frustrating as it was Thanksgiving weekend and we are a football family. However, the house fit our big family of 18 and kept us in one place for the weekend.

We had a girls weekend and it had plenty of room for all of us and a bathroom in every bedroom is a plus. The privacy the place offers was an added bonus.

This property is in a beautiful location, the views are so peacful! The sleeping arrangements are great for larger groups. The kitchen and living area are a little small for the number of people the house sleeps, but there is lots of great outdoor/deck space! Overall, we were please with the house.

The home does need some upgrading, paint touch up, etc. It suited our needs very well.

The location was amazing and the space was very comfortable. We only had 2 issues. 1st, the instructions for wifi login were incorrect on the house binder. 2nd, there were dirty dishes in the cupboards, but I don't think that had anything to do with the owners or cleaners. I suspect that people who stayed there previously put them away like that.

This property has a nice hot tub and the convenience of lots of bedrooms and bathrooms. However, this is where it ends. This property is highly overpriced for its condition. From no curtains or screens on any bedroom windows to no sand in the beanbags for cornhole, this place needs a major overhaul. Repairs needed to be done in every room of the house and the outdoor railing is quite rickety. Warning: there are no rails on the first few steps leading into the home. This was dangerous for our elderly family members. The trash was already full when we got there. We let management know but nothing was done and by day 2, we couldn’t even sit on the porch because the smell was so bad. We did let them know both propane tanks were empty and a new one showed up the next day.

Really pleased with the house, peacefulness, quiet. Just what we were looking for. No complaints other than it was hard to find the place on checkin day. Instructions should have said”Eagles View” as it’s a dangerous road, limited view of driveway. No useful sign or mention of “Swell House”posted. House address numbers not visible enough
Check the barbecue burner on far right. It was flaming at the hose connection to grill. . So we didn’t use that burner
Ceiling light switch’s not working in entry way, nor ante room to master bedroom and several upstairs switches not working /or need checking.
Sliding glass door in master bedroom not working, difficult to move.

The Swell House was disappointing. Although the space is large (lots of rooms and beds!), the hot tub is nice, and the view is gorgeous, the house itself was run down and looked nothing like the pictures. The house needs new carpet, paint, living room furniture, deck maintenance, and a kitchen refresh.

the house was a little rough around the edges - no window curtains, sub-standard linens, deck in bad shape. not the "luxury" property we were expecting. Did not like that the listing, nor the checkin instructions, give contact info - was a huge pain to go through vrbo customer service to try and track down property mgr when we had problems. the property was not worth what we spent.

This house is an amazing property for lots of families coming together. Plenty of space, lots to do, and amazing quiet location with spectacular views. There was even a good amount of parking. I would absolutely book this property again. The house is in need of a few small repairs, nothing detrimental to our stay but the sliding glass door in the master was incredibly difficult to open and close. Additionally, if you need reliable and strong wifi this may not be the best choice of properties. The connection was difficult to maintain so if needing to stay connected for work purposes be prepared to go into town for a good connection as needed. Property management through iTrip was incredible, best experience I’ve ever had with a property management team. They were super friendly and very quick to reading to any questions/concerns.

We just stayed at the swell house for almost a week . It is very spacious for a large family and the view from the property is outstanding. The home had some quirks, no dressers in bedrooms which everyone commented on, some upgrades are needed, but I feel the price reflects this. These things are very minor in comparison to the assets of this home, and certainly did not diminish our enjoyment of our time together. I would absolutely stay here again!

Great house for a large group, dog friendly and no close neighbors. Loved that each bedroom had its own bath. Kitchen had lots of dishes and was well stocked with pots pans and small appliances.

This house was perfect for our large family get-together, having 6 bedrooms and a bonus nook off the master!! 5-stars for customer service and responsiveness. Unless you have a GPS, you may miss the driveway entrance (no clear numbers posted). We loved how secluded it felt, yet close to so much! We would definitely stay here again (as long as we were reassured of a few improvements made... such as no malfunctioning hottub or master toilet and repaired floorboards on the deck). Thank you for the wonderful stay.

Although it is not a beach-front property( the beach is a 3 minute drive), it is secluded on a hilltop, with plenty of room for our family, including adult children and grandchildren. The fire pit and hot tub were delightful features, used nightly :).

Although it is not a beach-front property( the beach is a 3 minute drive), it is secluded on a hilltop, with plenty of room for our family, including adult children and grandchildren. Old House
This used to be a bed and breakfast. You can see what's left of the original sign as you drive up the gravel road to the place. The place is 90% bedrooms and from that perspective is very roomy if you have a lot of people. But the age of the place really showed through. The kitchen, in particular, is in great need of updating as is some of the plumbing. On the good side, the furniture is brand new. When we were there they had used a couple plug in scented oil diffusers to make the place smell good which did not work. The smell was so intense we had to remove the diffusers and air out the house for most of our stay. We left a day early.
