The property was in a great location, perfect view. Showers leaked , path to canoe and kayak was totally unsafe, Natures way knocked on door 8 a.m. did not know about spraying in house or around. plumber had to fix leak on our time when property manager knew about the leak. Property manager went by cottage several times, text me that garbage can had to be put out for pick up when I took garbage to my home and disposed of. I will never stay at that location or locations managed by property manager.I have already started looking for new location on lake Luzerne. I will never recommend VRBO to any family friends or work associates.

Great kitchen and outdoor area. We enjoyed access to the lake with the kayaks. Conveniently located to Glens Falls, Saratoga Springs, and Lake George for day trips.

Great location with awesome lake view to wake up to. House is clean and as described. My wife and I with our two kids had a wonderful stay here. Location is close to the town and the beach, also a short drive to Lake George. Owner was very communicative and very helpful. Would love to come back again!

We had heard about Lake Luzerne from an acquaintance, and we decided to go lake house rather than down the shore for our summer vacation. It is a decision we do not regret I credit a lot of our perfect vacaction to his lake house, which was our home base. Daily excursions on the lake using the kayaks provided, taking part of the music/food truck summer series on Wednesday night (a walk away), biking/walking into town to get what we needed from the local market*, hiking up Potash Mtn, doing a day trip into Lake George are just a few of the activities we easily arranged during our stay.
There are a couple/few places to eat close by, but we used the well-equipped kitchen to make a majority of our meals at the lake house. The back overlook onto the lake is worth the reservation. We had our coffee in the mornings by the lake, and enjoyed a nightly firepit in the evenings. The house, itself, is comfortable and spacious. The four of us had room to ourselves, as well as space that is conduscive for games of Risk, family movies, and dining together.
As I told the owner, this was one of -- if not THE -- best vacation my family and I have had, and I really do believe a lot of that is contributed to by the house and its location.
*For those looking for tofu and vegertarian (e.g., Impossible Burger) options, I recommend (a short drive to) Hannaford on Quaker Rd in Queensbury. Lake Luzerne's local market, however, is very well stocked with a fabulousy friendly/helpful staff!!

Very nice cottage on Lake Luzerne! It was large and the kitchen was beautiful. The path down to the water was tough to navigate but the kids loved going down to the dock. Close to the beach and very quiet even at night!

It was a wonderful week unplugging and reconnecting with our family. My son fished every day, the walk to the beach was short and sweet (and the beach was clean and nice), the water was warm and therapeutic. The great room and the enclosed porch were our favorite spots to hang out, read and make friendship bracelets with my daughter. :) Thank you for a great week!

I think it would be great to let people know the cabin is down a pretty serious hill to access the lake. My old knees just was not able to enjoy the private access to the lake like I wish I could have. Diane (the manager) was great to work with and I if you are in need of relaxation I recommend Mountain west mobile message to help you unwind while staring at the beauty of nature

Just what I was looking for, for a weekend away with my family. Inside had all updated appliances and beds were all comfortable. The view of the lake was perfect for us since we weren't there to spend any time on the water. If you are looking for a place thats perfect for doing water sports, i would look elsewhere. But for a morning coffee and a view this place is great!!

Cozy house with a great kitchen and incredible view of the lake. We really took advantage of the outdoor fire pit during the day and its setting with a unobstructed view of the lake and colorful fall foliage. Daily bald eagle sightings were a spectacular treat!

Lake Luzerne and this cabin were perfect for a weekend getaway. The view is amazing and nothing short of serene. There are great hiking trails and view within a short distance and Lake George/Bolton Landing are close enough for a day trip or dinner.

Lovely home on Lake Luzerne just a very short walk to beach. Canoe, kayaks. Amazing kitchen, lots of room for everyone! 3 season porch overlooking the lake as well as patio with fire pit. Immaculate. Loved listening to the loons and kayaking on the peaceful lake. What a great place and Diane was very, very helpful and responsive!

Had such a great time staying. The property is lovely and the house is great for relaxing with an open floor plan and a huge kitchen. Loved spending nights cooking and lounging. You can walk to the beach in less than five minutes! The location is perfect.

There was a mildew odor that was very strong - there were several ants in the kitchen as well. Also the bedding/ was not clean- there was dog hair all over sheets and comforter in the king bedroom. We were not happy!!

Very good experience
We spent Thanksgiving weekend at Lake Luzerne and it was a very nice experience. The space is warm and cosy, the kitchen and living room space is very pleasant. It was winter time so we haven't seen the potential of this place for summer activities, with canoe on the Lake but it sounds very promising as we are very close to the lake. We also loved the view of the Lake.

We had a great time at this property! The dock and kayaks and canoes were so nice to use whenever we felt like going on the lake or paddling over to the beach for a swim or picnic. The house was very comfortable and clean. The bedrooms and bathrooms need a good updating but the kitchen and living room were very nice. We had everything we needed and it was a perfect jumping off place for us to explore the Adirondacks and Lake George. Lots of mini golf, hikes, tubbing, ice cream, and s’mores in the fire pit.
