The Space: Snuggle into your own cozy cottage in Old Colorado City, a historic neighborhood replete with adorable homes from the 19th and early 20th centuries lined along sidewalks shaded by lovely mature trees. Your home-away-from-home is a twee single-story clapboard bungalow with a dear little path leading from the sidewalk to its front door. There is also an alleyway that runs behind the row of homes, where you’ll find a driveway for two vehicles and a gate leading into your fully fenced back yard. This will likely be the way you’ll enter from day to day, so let’s begin here. A completely private gravel yard is a nice space for kids and pets to let off steam and get fresh air, but the neighborhood is also pleasant for walking with a playground just two minutes away on foot (Thorndale Park). A wooden deck with a grill and small dining table for two provides the opportunity for outdoor meals. A patio door leads from the deck into the living area and the spacious, open concept kitchen and dining space beyond. If a hug was a piece of furniture, it would be the big, plump, curved sofa in the living area – the epitome of coziness.
