We stayed for 2 weeks and enjoyed every minute. It’s great to have the sunroom and 3 dining tables. We did lots of cooking (no dishwasher though 😀- old school- we didn’t mind). We played games- inside and out. We rode our bikes to the beach, local wineries, restaurants and more. Great secluded location yet easy to get to other places. After years of looking, this is the first place we were finally able to rent (price wise) near our relatives who live in Peconic. We are grateful for the host keeping this rental accessible price wise. The local contact person Cindy was very helpful and easy to communicate with. Thanks for a great stay. We plan to come back very soon! 😀🌈🏖🚲

My children and I needed a little piece of home to enjoy and relax at when we made our trip to NY this summer. My husband and I grew up on the North Fork, so each summer we would return to visit and see family and friends. We would enjoy the local eateries, go boating, fishing and enjoy the beaches and soak up the scenery. We would revisit places with our kids from the memories of our childhood hometown that has grown with time. This years trip was unique, it had been three years since we were in NY. Life challenges and COVID made visiting nearly impossible. This trip was important because our return trip to Long Island was going to be without my husband. He had passed away in March. I needed a place to stay that was going to be a place to return to after I hosted a celebration of life at a nearby location. The online listing caught my eye because of the amount of outdoor space that was available to have my three kids run around at. I was delighted to stay at the farm. I grew up in a neighboring town and the convenience of places nearby to visit, shop and eat, as well as the spacious yard, quaintly decorated house was a nice asset. The appeal of the listing was hard to beat. The house was a great retreat to return to from our visits with our family and friends. We enjoyed the comfort of the house and the easy use of all the amenities it offered. We were delighted to see turkeys, rabbits and deer in the yard and farm fields. This house gave us a place to retreat to when we needed to decompress from the reality of our loss, a place we once visited with our loved one, here we could stay at the farm and forge new memories and still have a sense that this felt like home even though it was temporary. We would love to return to this house again someday to summer on Long Island.
