Located in Phenix City, this charming house for $355 per night is a great choice for your next break. Summary: Meet Mildred, our beautiful historic home built in 1889! Mildred has four bedrooms and 3.5 baths. Each bedroom upstairs has its own full bathroom, with a master en-suite, which makes it perfect for families with kids, grandparents, or business travelers alike. Mildred is walkable to the Chattahoochee Riverwalk, multiple restaurants, shops, and is located about 1.5 miles south of downtown Columbus. Guests can enjoy walking to dinner at the Black Cow or Minnie's! We hope to host you! The Space: This historic blue beauty has a fully fenced yard with original wrought iron fencing in front. The front gate opens to a short walkway up a small flight of stairs to the partial wraparound brick front porch. The front door open to a foyer area. To the right is the staircase leading upstairs, and to the left is the main living space, with the formal dining room with seating for 8 straight ahead. To the left in the living room, there is a 70" SmartTV and ample seating for the entire family. The original center fireplace remains now for decorative purposes only. The living room wraps around this fireplace, and the other side has a large dining area with farmhouse style dining table. Off the main living area is a true "chef's kitchen" with a modern range and oven. The kitchen has back door access to the back deck and fenced yard. This home features four bedrooms and 3.5 bathrooms. The main floor bedroom has two full beds. Please note this bedroom does not have a true door, but a curtain has been installed for privacy. The master bedroom has a king bed and full en-suite bathroom with tub and SmartTv. The third bedroom has a queen bed with SmartTV, and the fourth bedroom has another Queen bed, twin bed, and SmartTV. All bedrooms have dressers with plenty of storage for clothing, and there are two more full bathrooms upstairs. Located just 15 mins from Fort Moore, Mighty Mildred really has it all! Free wifi, pet friendly with fee. Guest Access: Guests will access the home with a digital keypad. Guests will have full and private access to the entire home and yard. There are no shared spaces. The Neighborhood: Our home is located in the heart of uptown Columbus in a great location walkable to a variety of different attractions and dining options. While many homes have been completely renovated and restored, there are several homes on the block that are still awaiting loving owners to bring them back to their full beautiful potential. We are located about 1.5 miles south of downtown Columbus, and .4 miles directly east of the Coca Cola Space Science Center, and .8 miles south of the Riverwalk. Getting Around: Our home is walkable to multiple areas of Columbus, and Uber and Lyft are readily in available in the area. If you choose to drive, there are two parking spots available on-site. Other Things to Note: We require a signed rental agreement and for guest to be 25 years of age to book. We are a pet friendly home. Pets must be crated when they are left unattended in the home. We do not allow pets on furniture or beds, and all waste must be cleaned up from the yard. All pets require a non-refundable pet fee. If there is evidence of pet hair on the furniture, excess hair in the home, stains, or waste found in the yard or home, you will be charged the cost to clean this. In the event that a security deposit is collected, we will retain all or part of the security deposit to cover any costs associated with additional cleaning due to pets. Interaction with Guests: We like to give our guests maximum privacy, so we offer contact-free checkin via a digital door code. Just know that we are only a phone call away if ever the need arises during your stay!

A beautiful neighborhood in Historic Columbus. The home and the hospitality made for a wonderful stay. Everything is available within minutes. A perfect setting. We all had a wonderful stay. We will be returning.

Mighty Mildred was convenient to stay at for the Fort Moore events we needed to attend. The Property managers were easy to work with and very responsive. It is a very old house so there were a few creaks and quirks, but the convenience and spaciousness make up for all that. Bonus there was even a grill which weren't expecting but made cooking at home even more fun.

We were staying near Fort Benning so our soldier could visit with us for family day and graduation day. This house was perfect! The rooms are large, beds comfy, and plenty of places to hang out between the living room, dining room, and kitchen. We were able to make all our meals in the kitchen which had two whole fridges!! The washer and dryer were great! And the claw foot tubs are just fun!
As far as communication and checking in, we were a little underwhelmed. We had to actually contact them at check in because they had not forwarded the instructions. Then, when our family arrived, the code they sent didn’t work. I will say that after a call, they got it resolved, but it wasn’t without hiccup. We had no other issues during our stay!
One note, the upstairs tub needs a shower curtain on the backside of the tub so water doesn’t hit the wall and run down to the floor.
Thanks for allowing us to rest and celebrate in such a lovely home!

We enjoyed this spacious and warm home. The upstairs bedrooms were lovely but the downstairs ones were a little uncomfortable and awkward. The kitchen was well equipped and easy to use with 2 large refrigerators. First impression was a little rough as the outside of the house and porch need repairs and cleaning. However, we did enjoy being close to beautiful downtown Columbus. It was fun to be able to walk downtown for breakfast each morning.

It was so fun! The only issue was the water in the kitchen sink would occasionally just quit. We figured out if you pressed the lever on the spray nozzel the water in the faucet would come back on.

Online shows a property with great curve appeal. Pulling up to the in manicured lawn was the first sign that something was not right with the place. Walking up to the front door you are greeted by the odor of the 4 filled trashcans Opening the front door you will be welcomed by the dust smell and dirty window dressings. The surfaces throughout the home were filled with dust. Beds were filled with animal hair. Not once did the online post mention there would be a damaged deck due to a falling tree. Doors door knobs were falling off doors. During a time such as this, one would think cleanliness would be a priority.
In closing, my thoughts are that this property should be removed from listing until the owner aligns this home with company standards! Especially if Customers Health and Safety are a priority!

Quite satisfied
Easy location and spacious house with character. Enjoyed the gated front porch for morning coffee and extra long dining table for entertaining entire family. Was a little surprised a downstairs bedroom had curtains vice doors, but it worked out fine for us.
