Overall property was nice with a good view of ocean. Enjoyed the local restaurants for breakfast. Didn’t encounter any problems with the property.

Our stay was lovely. We were in town for our daughter's wedding and it was a perfect location for the festivities in Santa Barbara and Carpenteria. The house was big, clean and had wonderful summer breezes blowing through it. At night with the windows open, there was the hum of traffic from the highway, but you couldn't hear it with the windows closed at all. The main bedroom and attached main bathroom is absolutely lovely - spacious with an attached office/study/desk. The back deck with views of the ocean was a wonderful place to hang out and the hot tub was relaxing. All in all a great stay.

We were a group of 2 mothers and our daughters just wanting some time in California for 5 nights. Summerland is a darling town and close to Santa Barbara and Montecito but not in the thick of things as we were there during UCSB graduation weekend. The place is beautiful, clean and spacious. The view from the deck is gorgeous, it would have been nice if the sun came out more but not the properties fault. It is on a hill so walking to town was a trek, we drove it a lot.We used the kitchen a fair amount and it is well equipped. Enjoyed the hot tub, the thermostat was not accurate but we figured out a sweet spot. Beds were comfortable. Great dining room table for meals and games. Ping pong table and games in garage were a nice touch.We were impressed with the property management group. They were very responsive even getting us beach chairs. It is a lovely area and property. I want to leave a recommendation for an activity if you come to this area. A must see is Lotusland in Santa Barbara. It is a private huge garden with some of the most diverse plant life anywhere. You must make a reservation and they only have 2 tours per day so plan ahead it will be worth it!!

The house was spacious, bright and clean. The views of the ocean from inside and on the deck were incredible.
We had a great time at the house and the kids loved playing ping pong and hanging in the hot tub.

Wonderful time in Summerland! Location was awesome, quiet neighborhood and walkable to restaurants, shops and beach. Would recommend to anyone traveling to the Santa Barbara area. It was a perfect retreat for our family while here for a wedding.

We didn't want to leave this amazing home and city! So loved everything about our stay! The beds were extremely comfortable, and the house was immaculate. We made lots of memories here and won't hesitate to return.

Summerland’s California Dreamin’ was the perfect rental for our group! The home was very clean, organized, well
stocked, and the layout was very comfortable. The location was close to Montecito and Santa Barbara and each morning we walked to Red Kettle Coffee, which was delicious! We enjoyed the games in the garage and added a puzzle we didn’t finish to the home’s offerings. Unfortunately, we wanted to make more use of the hot tub, but the temperature was too hot and we couldn’t figure out how to lower it. Also, one thing to note, which we didn’t find out until a few days before arrival, when we received check in details… they ask that you not talk outdoors after 9:00 pm. This seems like an odd request, given the inviting patio, hot tub, etc., but when arriving on property, you notice the homes are very close to one another and you understand the request. Also, everything in the area closes so early that you’re probably going to be indoors by 9:00 pm anyway. It wasn’t an issue for us at all, but we were surprised when we saw the notation, as we thought we’d be sitting on patio and using hot tub in the evening — neither happened. Would highly recommended this property and would definitely stay again. Thank you for a wonderful stay!
PS toilet seat in master is heated :-) This was a welcome surprise as it was cold and rainy during our visit.

A really lovely rental in a fantastic area. Great views of the pacific making for great sunsets and sunrises. Summerland is a cute small beach community and the fantastic Santa Barbara is just 10 minutes drive away. A high quality, stylish and well equipped house, decor is very Californian chic with a big Restoration Hardware feel. Beds super comfortable. Great master bathroom. Almost everything about this house says quality and style. The only gap is the lack of air conditioning. For those who like cool/cold bedrooms then this was not ideal

California Light!
There's something about the light in California. Californa Dreamin' is abundant with light from every room and it was also very cozy on rainy days. The place accommodated 5 of us very well. Very well stocked and the beds were super comfortable. The patio is the best and next time I'll rent when it is a tad warmer. But the hot tub was perfect for cooler nights as well. Gorgeous view and peaceful. Easy walk to the beach and Summerland is precious. We will return for sure!

Loved staying at this beach house. The views of the ocean from the deck, kitchen, and bedroom were fantastic. We loved the new jacuzzi on the deck overlooking the ocean with a perfect sunset. Great Beach House Vibe
