Nice older house. Loved how quiet the neighborhood was! Was concerned when we were driving to the house but were very surprised how quiet it was. The house is older. So the floors could stand an up dating. The upstairs shower leaks. The A/C Works amazing!! The car port roof is falling down and needs repair. All n all a nice place to stay! I would visit again!

We were in the area to shoot a TV show. This house is in a great location when headed to downtown, Bayou La Batre, Fairhope, etc. Plenty of room in this classic home in a quiet, residential neighborhood. Beds are comfortable and everything works! The owner was very responsive. If the opportunity arises, I'll book this house again.

The owners were nice however the house was not really ready to rent. It is not a 2 bath (Downstair bath only has old tub with mildew and no shower, the door almost impossible to close, unable to lock and no covering for large window which exposes you). The Bathroom upstairs is extremely small it only has a shower which had mildew in corners If tall you will be required to take shower bent over no head room. Pull out sofa mattress stained and need replacing. Parking is at rear of house but unable to enter house from rear. Kitchen appliances new, plates and eat wear good but the cabinets are old and rusted on the inside and need to be replace. Lot of patch work in bathrooms and through out the house. This is a 3 bedroom with loft and 1.5 bathrooms. Upstairs there are two rooms a common loft area between the two rooms with 2 day beds which is being called a room. No privacy as it is an open loft. Stair to top are not stable.

Mardi Gras framily
Mardi Gras framily
We have been coming to Mardi Gras for over 15 years. Some of my family and friends that are basically family. I was very impressed with this property and have nothing bad to say about it at all. It met all of our needs, completely! I originally had a booking with another property and had it booked since June of 2021, at the last minute he canceled without reason, we literally had 3 days to find somewhere else and thank GOD this was there and perfect. The other property was paid for via all four of the couples and a refund has still not been given. So with that being said when I found this it was like it was God sent. You know what, it was closer, nicer and believe it or not actually cost a lil less than the other property. I'm on oxygen so my only concern was, if there was a downstairs bedroom and bath.... and there was!! There was just enough paring space outside for the 4 cars and when my daughter came by she just parked on the street. I didn't have to worry about her car getting messed with because we could almost see the police department, less than a block away. We really enjoyed our stay here and will most definitely be making our next year reservation for here very soon. Thank you for the great time!!!
