Terrible neighborhood. "Loft" was unusable for adults; too dangerous to climb up into it. Should NEVER be rented to seniors, in particular. Not a safe place to leave a car, so we left our friend here (without a car) and found another place to stay, adding expense to the weekend. The whole experience will make me more wary about rentals in the future.

We booked this for a weekend visiting from San Diego, and we just wanted something affordable and near BART. It certainly doesn’t have bells and whistles, but it was good enough for what we needed. I will say it’s a little further from the BART station than we expected, but as two healthy adults we made it work. I just wouldn’t recommend it with kids or with females alone because part of the walk to the house takes you under a dark bridge. The place was somewhat clean but there were ants in the kitchen, the toilet paper holder was broken off the wall, and the bath towels were stained. We did have some trouble getting in initially but after a call to the host we learned there are more than one unit “A” so we just needed to go around the corner. Easy fix but we felt bad for waking her up at 1:40am. Overall, 4 stars because the host was very responsive and friendly.

The architecture of the flat was very interesting. The kids loved to stay in the upper room. The flat was clean.

This home is everything it says it is. It is nice, and spacious. The kitchen is stocked for you to cook your own meals. The inside is just like the pictures. It is clean and comfy. The neighborhood is not the best however when you are inside you forget where you are! Overall an amazing stay! I would definitely book in the future ❤️

We checked in at about 12a. The neighborhood was full of vehicles, cars were double parked, trash everywhere in the area (other than the property). Had to park 3 blocks away. Inside the property reeked of marijuana, there was open food in the cabinets, the dishes in the cabinet were very dirty, the bedding looked as though it were not washed, the couch arm was broken, the dish sponge was filled with food substances. The host was very apologetic; but at 1am after a long flight, we needed sleep. My wife was ready to go elsewhere right away, as sleeping on questionable bedding is not our idea of comfort. I was on the phone with VRBO for hours, trying to have them find us another location. They said it was nothing they could do and I should work with the host on a solution. The host allowed us to cancel the remaining days on our contract and we got a hotel. We bought the travel insurance an all, so I thought that VRBO would respond better. All of my stays have been good up to this point; but it is in the difficult times when you find out the true worth of a company.

Worst stay in my decade history of using VRBO. VRBO was of no assistance.
