Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). The property itself was decent. Fairly clean, although maybe a little heavy on the smell if Febreeze. The complaint that I would make is that the listing the property is deceptive. We rented the property in the summer, and it states that there is a pool. In the listing it does state that it is offsite at a place called the Sun Mountain Recreation Area. When we drove there, it was abandoned and the facilities were derelict, and it looked like they had been for some time. When we contacted the management company to ask for an explanation, they couldn’t give us one. This wouldn’t have been too much of a problem, except we had a 4 year old with us who really wanted to go for a swim. Probably a great place to rent for a ski trip, as it is right across the street from Shawnee Mountain, but just be aware of you are renting in the summer that the listing headline is inaccurate. There is no pool access.

Lots of space is really nice to have in a vrbo and this unit has plenty of it. Clean and updated unit in great condition. The beds were very comfortable also. If we were staying in this area again for multiple days it would be a great place to call basecamop.

The sheets and bedding were thoroughly sprayed with Fabreze. I went to get clean sheets but they all smelled funky. My eye swelled. I had to wash a sheet and the leak from the washer went all the way into kitchen and I mopped up with towel. The TV is some no-name brand that has no remote. After complaining and being told a remote would be brought to me which it never was - I tried various techniques but the TV displayed a line that said “No Signal” so lucky I had my iPad. I thought the name Marriott meant something and am so disappointed. I had to take 2 benedryl to get my eye swelling and itchiness to go away. But Fabreze instead of cleanly washed fresh sheets is a crime for someone like me with allergies to Fabreze. The washer probably needs new hoses. No one is asking care of and upkeeping this place. The dishes in cabinet were literally filthy when I wiped with paper towel. I think I’ll go back to regular hotels after this mess up.

The house was very clean and spacious than what we anticipated. All the amenities were available and in good condition. Compared to other places , this was cheaper as well and safe. Of course , the driveway to this location was deserted during nights but once you reach the place, it is very nice and the place is beautiful in the mornings. Definitely a go!
