About this house rental
Fantastic two story house with whitewater view of Neahkahnie beach. Enjoy the views from inside the house or outside on the three decks.
This house is located on the north side of Manzanita below Neahkahnie mountain. 5 minute drive to downtown Manzanita and 4 blocks to the beach but well above tsunami risk. Neahkahnie beach is less windy and less busy than the beach at Manzanita.
The floor plan is reversed so the first floor has an ocean view bedroom with queen bed, a full bathroom and a tv room with 65" roku tv. The sofa slides out to a full size bed. You can also access the private, ocean view hot tub and deck through the back door in the bathroom
Upstairs give you a fantastic ocean view from the bright vaulted great room. A large sectional couch faces the views and the wood burning stove. The covered upper deck with several views can be enjoyed even if it rains.
The complete kitchen has large quartz counters and new appliances including a double drawer fridge. The pantry hosts a coffee bar and full size fridge.
The master bedroom has a king bed with more of that wonderful ocean view. And right off it is another full bathroom with shower.
The house has a gas furnace so no pesky cadet wall heaters. Washer/dryer are in the insulated garage along with some boogie and surfboards. Spend your days around the fire pit out front and get your grill on with a gas BBQ which is undercover for those rainy days. Plenty of paved parking with one level spot for a larger vehicle.

We've stayed in multiple properties up and down the Oregon Coast over 20 years. This property is the best we've encountered.The house is well-designed for its unobstructed view of the ocean and its sounds. Bedroom downstairs is attached to bathroom and TV room; like a small apartment unto itself. Upstairs is smartly designed with open room concept for kitchen and living room, and larger kitchen tools (microwave, refrigerator) in a pantry-like room just off kitchen. Second bedroom upstairs is similar, with attached bathroom and door for isolation.I have never stayed in a house that "has everything" before this one. This house has everything you will need for a multi-day stay. Firewood...this house has separate plastic containers outdoors for starter and ongoing burning. The hot tub was pre-set to use temperature. Dry suits, boards, recreational The neighborhood is quiet and attractive. The quarter-mile walk down to one of Oregon's longest beaches is safe and easy. For families, this is a property where the kids can be allowed to wander and the adults can enjoy a turnkey vacation.

We have been coming out to the Coast for decades, and of all the different places we've stayed, this property was without question one of the best. The building and grounds are lovely and well-tended—the work that has been done to maintain and update them is much more tasteful and considered than is the norm. The spaces were clean, nicely furnished, and well-appointed. Everything we could reasonably need or want was accounted for. Communication with the host was also excellent. We enjoyed our stay immensely, and are already looking forward to our next visit.
