Located in Eugene, this charming house for $250 per night is a fantastic choice for your next break. The Chuckanut Garden Oasis Our Chuckanut home is a charming 1940s home with a large quiet and peaceful garden space. We furnish our home to create a vacation space for families and friends who are traveling through the Willamette Valley, visiting students at the University of Oregon and or having a reunion. It is located off Crescent Avenue in North Eugene, in a safe and quiet residential neighborhood. This is a 2 story house surrounded by outdoor garden areas on three sides. Ground level: The main entrance to the house is located in a quiet cul-de-sac. The main door opens into a cozy front sitting room with a large comfortable couch, lounging chair, old piano and decorative fireplace. The sitting room opens to the left into a dining room with a bar counter and china closet. There is a large table that comfortably seats 8 guests. Next to dining area is the kitchen with an island electric cooktop. There is a cozy breakfast nook with cushioned seats. The stainless steel oven and dishwasher are newly purchased. There is a second living space, next to kitchen, with a couch, decorative wood-burning fireplace and mounted TV. We do not provide firewood for the fireplace. One of the 3 bedrooms is located on the first floor. It is furnished with a queen bed and office desk. There is a half bathroom located right outside this bedroom. Finally, there is also a laundry room with washer and dryer and cleaning supplies on the ground floor. Second level: A flight of stairs leads to two bedrooms and two full bathrooms on the second floor. The spacious master bedroom has a king size bed, mounted TV, dressers and a sitting corner. There is an ensuite master bathroom with twin sinks and twin showers The second bedroom has 2 queen size bed, a mounted TV and an ensuite full bathroom with shower and bathtub There is central radiant heating, and window AC units during the summer months for each bedroom and the living room. Outdoor Garden: A framed walkway to the right of the front door leads through a front lawn with apple and pear trees that unfolds into a outdoor fire pit area. A side entrance between the hedges to the left of the front door leads to a pebble covered space under a willow tree. The backyard is fully fenced, pet friendly and has an outdoor sitting area for the whole group, an outdoor grill and dining area. There is a new hot tub. There is an adjacent garden sanctuary with grapevines and a old stone vase as a centerpiece.

We gathered with our whole family to visit our son’s family just a block away. This location is close to everything you might need. The house is laid out in sections which was really convenient for our dogs to keep them confined to only part of the house. The kitchen had everything we needed. The yard is like a private oasis so you don’t feel like you’re in a goldfish bowl. Everything was tidy and the Christmas decorations and lit tree was a nice touch! Thank you!

The home is in a quiet, well-kept neighborhood ideally located close to UO and downtown. The outside area is private and beautiful with several seating areas. The home is large and the kitchen is very well stocked for making meals. The only drawback is the TV room…it does not have the radiant heating in the floor and was uncomfortably cold. If staying in the colder months, don’t plan to use this room.

House was very clean. Lots of room. Apparently someone lives there occasionally, so the kitchen had some of the basics, sugar, cooking oil, spices, plenty of detergent, paper towels. We've rented several houses that have NOTHING !! A pleasant surprise. Easy access to highways. Would stay there again.

We had a great time while visiting our daughter. It was clean, the neighborhood was quiet and very nice patio area! The entire property is very secluded and private. The backyard had plenty of space to hang out and fully furnished. The kitchen was fully stocked with all the things to prepare meals. We arrived a little earlier and the host was very accommodating to let us check in before schedule. I would highly recommend the house!!

We stayed here because we were visiting our daughter and family for holidays. We had our two dogs with us. The house was perfect for all of us. It was even decorated for Christmas with a tree which was a wonderful surprise. In fact, the boys wanted to stay at the house and not go back to their own.There was plenty of room for the dogs and our grandchildren to explore inside and out. We were very comfortable and felt at home!! We appreciate the hosts letting us add my brother as a guest at the last minute.

This was an excellent house for our small group. It was a very comfortable property is a safe and quiet neighborhood. The backyard needed some attention, since it was kind of junky. A couple missing plumbing parts in the upsatirs bathrooms should be restored. Some investment in improving the pillows and bedding would be nice.

My sister and I stayed with our small kids at this home for a COVID-safe getaway. The kids loved the hot tub! The house took a while to warm up when we first arrived, but owners were very communicative. Maybe check-in instructions during the winter could explain the process/timing for heating the house? Thanks for a fun visit.
