About this house rental
Situated in Buffalo River, this attractive house for $203 per night is a great choice for your next break. Leave your worries behind and come enjoy the great outdoors while staying in the BRAND NEW Arrowhead A frame cabin located on our sprawling Rocky Prairie Ranch overlooking the Buffalo National River Valley in the distance. We are conveniently located off Hwy 333 just under one mile from Hwy 65. With multiple points of access to the Buffalo National River only minutes away from the cabin along with three canoe outfitters to choose from. The Arrowhead A frame is a great choice for families that are wanting to enjoy the Buffalo River and all the fun activities of the surrounding Ozark mountains. The cabin features an open floor to ceiling living room with large stunning glass windows looking out towards the mountains and countryside. In the living room you will find many seating options from a futon sleeper sofa , love seat, papasan chair and more while enjoying the smart TV with streaming apps and a DVD player with 100+ movies to choose from. Also below the TV is a 50 inch LCD electric fireplace capable of many color and speed settings great for creating that mountain cabin ambience. Moving into the kitchen and dining area you have two options for dining either at the bar or dining table each have seating for four. Both of which are made from trees milled right from the Ranch as you will find throughout the cabin . The cabin has a full kitchen with all necessary cookware including range/ oven, refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave, toaster and Keurig Kcup coffee maker with a selection of coffee provided. Moving into the master bedroom you will find a plush queen bed along with two nightstands, a dresser and a closet. Connecting to the master is the main bath which has a custom walk-in shower with a large rain shower head for a relaxing experience. To the side of the main bath there is a washer and dryer convenient for those on longer stays or as the need arises to do laundry. Going up the spiral staircase you will arrive in the upstairs bedroom/loft with adjacent half bath. The loft has been designed with four built in bunks two of which are full size mattresses and two are twin size. Each bunk has their own animal themes. Each bunk has its own cubby, lights and power outlets including USB outlets for charging devices. From the loft there is a balcony overlooking the living room and perfectly positioned to peer through the glass of the A frame looking out to the mountains to the east which lays the Buffalo National River. Awesome sunrises may also be seen through the large front windows with the cabin positioned due east. Due to all of the custom woodwork in cabin, we do not allow pets. Going outside you will find a front deck with seating that is elevated 6 feet above ground level providing spectacular views. This area of Arkansas and the Buffalo River has also been deemed a international dark sky park which affords you some breathtaking views of the stars right from the front deck of the cabin. On the back deck you will find a ramp for ease of access to the cabin for those that don't like stairs . Leading off the back deck is pathway that leads to the firepit area. Large thousand pound boulders make up the seating area around the fire pit with the added seating option of a rustic wood slab top picnic table. Provided also is a propane gas grill for cooking burgers or such. The driveway to the cabin is a well cared for gravel driveway with multiple parking spots in front and beside the cabin. There is plenty of room for trailers also if needed. With our location you will find many activities to do close by on the Buffalo River National Park and surrounding Ozark National Forest from hiking, horse back riding , canoeing, fishing, hunting, rock climbing, spelunking, off road trails and more. Close by there are also several great dining options including Fergusons Country Store and Restaurant, which is less then one mile from the cabin. For those that would like to see a movie, the Kenda Drive Inn in Marshall, AR is only 15 minutes away. If a night out of dining and attractions is on your list, we are a little over a hour south of Branson Missouri which offers many different attractions, events and restaurant choices. Harrison Arkansas is a 35 to 40 minute drive which has many stores and restaurants also. So whether you are looking for an outdoor adventure or just some peace and quiet in the country we know you will love and enjoy a stay at our wonderful cabin. When making your reservation, please put the total number of guests that will be staying at the cabin. Only registered guests are allowed at the cabin.

This place is even better than it looked online. The hosts thought of everything. The beds upstairs were super cozy and each had its own plug in for chargers, overhead reading light, and cubby for storage. The guide had instructions for everything in the house. The location is very convenient to town, but so dark at night that you can see the Milky Way. Scenic views, including farm animals really made it extra special. Truly incredible place. We might go back every year.

This property was the best VRBO ever!! Close to the river and hiking! The cabin is also close to town with adorable little shops. The cabin had everything you could want! The master bed was sooo comfortable!! The cabin was so unique and beautiful. Sitting outside on the deck watching the stars was amazing. We had a campfire at the fire ring and roasted s'mores. The best thing ever, we watched the fireflies all around!! We will come back to this cabin!!

This is a beautiful place. It is comfortable and clean, everything is well labeled, and books about the area are available. There are board games and great movie options. The shower is incredible. This is also a great place for star gazing and relaxation.

We enjoyed our stay. The property is beautiful and the cabin is very spacious for a couple or small family. The cabin is on a working ranch property, and the owners live nearby in view of the cabin. There are a couple good restaurants very close nearby, and there are two Buffalo river access points within a 10 minute drive.

We loved everything about our stay here. The cabin was beautifully built, clean, lots of games, beautiful view, and the owners were the sweetest!. I loved waking up and sitting out on the front porch drinking coffee, watching the cattel, and only being able to hear nature. This was such a peaceful place to be and we can't wait to come back.

Our family came to attend the Darksky Festival at Tylers Bend. This darling A-frame was the perfect spot, atop a hill with unobstructed views of the stars. The cabin was pristine with all the amenities. The Berkleys were lovely hosts. We learned that they built the A-frame and their home with lumber they milled from the property. Close to conveniences and the Buffalo River what more could you ask? Just the best!

We needed an overnight stay on the way to pick up my father in Arkansas. This is a beautiful location, very clean and really lovely. Lots of DVD’s and games and folders filled with information on the area of things to do.

Perfect Place For Exploring the Buffalo River Area
We only stayed 1 night, but it was perfect for our needs. It was very well equipped, had basically everything anyone would want. Slept 2 in the Master downstairs, and that bath also has a door to the living areas down stairs. We used the fire pit and the grill. Both worked well - Kevin had some dry wood , which really helped since it had rained earlier in the day. The 4 cubbies (places to sleep upstairs- we used 2 of them) were very comfortable. the whole place is very well designed with lots of nice interior touches...you can load and unload from the back door which is on ground level. The front porch is raised which gives a nice view and breeze, looking south / southeast toward Gilbert. Its very safe and comfortable with good lighting and fencing around the property.

This is the perfect property for a family. Kids loved the bunk room/loft! They stayed upstairs playing games late into the night. S’more by the fire was perfect. This location is close to canoe rentals and swimming holes. We will be back!
