Situated in Caswell Beach, this lovely condo for $216 per night is a great option for your next vacation. Welcome to Herons Rest where you don't even need to make the beds as all beds are made prior to your arrival! Newly renovated bathrooms! Discounted Long term stays available through March. This 3 bed 2 bath condo is located in the beautiful and quiet Caswell Beach, nestled against the stately Live Oaks on the Oak Island Golf Course. It is a great location for families and groups of friends wanting to enjoy the white sandy beaches of Oak Island. The condo is recently updated with a modern fully equipped kitchen and beautiful soapstone countertops. You have everything you need to cook your favorite family meals! For the golfers in the family, they will be just minutes away from the Oak Island Golf Course! The clubhouse is a short 3 minute drive. The back deck faces both the 7th hole green and 8th hole tee-box. Enjoy your morning coffee on the back porch, shaded by the large Live Oak trees with Spanish moss draping from the branches. With such a short distance to the beach, you will be enjoying the salt, sand and sun within minutes. The condo community has 2 pools available for use (in season). The primary pool is a short walk from the front door. For the indoor days enjoy the cable TV and numerous Roku channels to watch your favorite shows, sports and movies. The garage is not available to park in, but you will have access to the garage where you can find extra seating, beach gear, ping-pong table and a BBQ grill! Sleeping Arrangements: Bedroom 1 (Primary): 1 Queen bed Bedroom 2 (guest): 1 Queen bed Bedroom 3 (guest): 2 Twin beds **Linens & bath towels are included for free in the reservation** **Parking pass must remain in view, in your vehicle for the entirety of the stay. Failure to place a pass in the vehicle could result in towing. Passes will be available in the blue binder in the condo** *On January 10th, 2023 the Oak Island Town Council voted to approve paid parking on the island. The paid parking will be in effect from April 1 through September 30th and the hours are from 9:00am to 5:00pm. The cost will be $5 per hour, $20 per day and $80 per week. There will be a limited (1000) number of annual passes available for purchase for $175. Our family had such a wonderful time at Heron's Rest. The location was perfect. Such a short, easy walk to both the beach and pool, and a short drive to so many restaurants and attractions. The condo was perfect for our family of 6. Beds were comfortable, with many extra pillows and blankets. We had everything we needed in the kitchen, and we really enjoyed the outdoor patio space, as well as the hang out area in the garage. The beach supplies (chairs, wagon, beach toys) made our time at the beach so much more enjoyable. We will definitely be back. Thanks for a great stay!

This is our 4th stay at Heron's Rest on Oak Island!! It is such a clean and comfortable condo close to EVERYTHING you need for a weeks stay at the beach! Well equipped kitchen, comfy living and dining area, deck facing the golf course! Best of all, quick walk to the beautiful beach!!! We will DEFINITELY BE BACK NEXT YEAR!!! The property was clean and well organized. Little touches, like usb hubs and storage baskets, helped the place feel functional. Decor was homey and uncluttered. I would recommend blackout curtains here, as every room is sunny and bright.

Condo is wonderfully located very very close to the beach (2 min walk) and adjacent to the very nice, quiet community pool. Condo complex is older, but the unit has some updates - very nice kitchen. Beds were not tremendously comfortable, but were okay. Beach is beautiful and not at all crowded. Would definitely consider staying here again.

We had a wonderful week! The condo was very nice and accommodating. Would love to come back again. My two granddaughters loved the beach and pool. We were surprised at how quiet it was there. Wonderful! We visited Oak Island and Southport… enjoyed the restaurants, ice cream parlors, shops, miniature golf. There was only one pitcher which I used for ice tea, but needed another for lemonade. I bought one and left in cabinet for other guests to use. That was the only thing I needed, but didn’t have. The kitchen was well equipped. One question, how will my security deposit be refunded? Thank you again for a wonderful trip to the beach! A lot of memories were made!

Heron’s Rest always feels like a home away from home. Always clean and the unit is in an ideal location. Easy to get in contact with property management if needed and so quick to respond. There is nothing negative to share here. Working with Janet and James is always a pleasure. We’re looking forward to our July summer vacation.

Fantastic location and very comfortable setup

4 of us stayed for an entire month. The location is very comfortable and peaceful, technology setup was great with smartTV and fast internet, appliances were all updated with great cookware. Spot is a couple minute walk to beautiful beach; one of the nicest beaches we've ever been to in terms of sand and space to spread out. Because of the location of the beach facing south, you get to see the sunrise and sunset. In terms of location, you have a dozen or so incredible restaurants (we did mainly take-out) within a couple minute drive and a couple brand new grocery stores (Publix & Lowe's Foods) within a 10 minute drive. We will definitely be returning!

We so enjoyed this property- it is equipped with all of the linens, kitchen supplies, and even beach toys and a wagon! The walk to the beach is short, and both pools are clean and not crowded. We even got to see loggerhead turtles hatch right near the private walkway - we will definitely return to Oak Island and stay here again! Thank you for such a great experience!!

My parents, in-laws, husband and I stayed at this awesome Condo at Caswell Beach. It has a great layout and is close to the pool and not far from the beach. It was very clean and quiet. It has two bedrooms in the front, one with 2 twin beds and one with a double bed. These 2 bedrooms share a bathroom. The Master Bedroom has a queen bed and is at the back off the living room and has access to the balcony overlooking the golf course. We had a great time!
