Nearly 100 years old and perfectly perched in the quiet Hancock Park neighborhood, this adorable Los Angeles retreat has been recently renovated with unmatched attention to detail while still retaining the understated glitz and glamour of the old Hollywood art deco motif. Just two blocks from a large grocery store and many shops/restaurants and a 15 minute walk to the famed Larchmont Village, Hancock Park Manor will greet you with a lovely garden and natural privacy created by lush greenery leading up to the front door. Look across the street and you will see the Cunningham homestead from 'Happy Days!' Step inside, and the contemporary touches, high-end furnishings, high ceilings, and abundance of natural light will allow you to slip right into relaxation mode feeling right at home. When it comes to entertaining the whole gang, the layout of the living room and kitchen is perfect for mingling from room to room as the chef of the group takes advantage of the gas range and stainless steel appliances provided. Kick back on the leather sofa in front of the fire and grab a book from the built-in bookshelf or stream a favorite movie on the mounted flatscreen TV to really chill out. When you need a bit of fresh air, step out of the french doors from the main suite or living area and gather around the firepit in the semicircular outdoor sofa as the sun goes down. Speaking of the primary suite, you can easily snag a bit of alone time and soak in the deep clawfoot tub or rinse off in the steam shower at the end of an exciting day. With so much comfort and style in a perfect location, you won't want to miss this rare opportunity! Things to Know Check-in time: 4:00 p.m. Check-out time: 10:00 a.m. All guests shall abide by Vacasa’s good neighbor policy and shall not engage in illegal activity. Quiet hours are from 10:00 p.m. to 8:00 a.m. No smoking is permitted anywhere on the premises. Snowbird-friendly. The owner regularly stays in their "owner apartment" in the detached garage in the backyard. They also may need to park in the driveway to charge their cars because they both drive Teslas. If you are bringing a dog on your trip, the nightly pet fee is already included in your quote when selecting "Yes" to pets. If you would like to add more dogs, please contact us. The nightly fee ranges between $150 and $200, depending on the bedroom count, and will apply for each additional dog. Parking notes: There is free parking available for 2 vehicles. Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit. More information can be downloaded from the "Rental Agreement" on the checkout page. Due to local laws or HOA requirements, guests must be at least 25 years of age to book. Guests under 25 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian for the duration of the reservation. We loved our stay over the Christmas holiday. The house was just beautiful, and we loved the location (two blocks from grocery store, walking distance to larchmont). Highly recommend and can’t wait to come back!

We had a wonderful stay here - beautiful house, tastefully decorated, spacious and welcoming. Hosts were perfect and everything went smoothly.

We loved our week long stay here. The rooms were a great layout for our young family plus grandma. We loved the fireplace in the kitchen/sitting room. The kitchen was well stocked with utensils for cooking/baking which we did for the thanksgiving holiday. The location is great and its a real joy strolling on the beautiful block. It's quiet and clean. We really enjoyed our stay! Thank you!

Wonderful home…bright, modern, and comfy. Great open kitchen, high-end appliances, and stocked with everything we needed. Dimable recessed lighting thru-out enhanced the already nice ambiance. Hancock Park location was quiet and safe, and totally central to great LA restaurants, retail, and coffee shops. We loved the house, and will definitely stay there again!
