Guests will love the 5-minute walk to Woodland Beach with 5 swimming beaches, multiple playgrounds and outdoor recreation areas, 5-minute drive to historical Londontowne Public Gardens and just 15 minutes to Annapolis. The home itself is equipped with everything a guest would want from a cozy stay near the water: a spacious open family/dining room and kitchen with a large flatscreen TV and fireplace. The 2 bedrooms and 2 baths comfortably sleep up to 6 with additional space to sleep in the TV den/work office/bedroom space that closes off from the rest of the house with a beautiful sliding barn door. Planning to stay awhile? The spacious laundry room has a full washer/dryer and the driveway is large enough for an RV or boat trailer with its own 30-AMP electrical power source hook-up on the side of the house next to the driveway. From the 3rd bedroom, head outside to the fenced-in yard and enjoy the private Hot Tub! There's also plenty of seating to enjoy the fire pit. There is room for 3 cars in the driveway, a boat trailer or RV. The charming home is ideal for families and friends coming in for that special Naval Academy or boat show event, or to take in the sights and sounds of Greater Annapolis. My dogs and I spent a full month at the Edgewater Cottage and it was perfect! Cathy was quick to respond if I needed anything, and the cottage was well appointed and in a great location. I hope to book it again soon!

Great little stay near Annapolis! The neighborhood is cute and safe, perfect to walk your dogs. The yard is fenced in and my dogs were quite happy with the set up. The house is clean and very comfortable. I would recommend this stay!

Clean, well laid out property in a great neighborhood. The walk to the community beach is short and the restaurants in the local area are fantastic. The property managers were very pro-active with property details and check-in information. Also, there weren't onerous house rules like some places - all very reasonable. If you're looking for a laid-back family or adult vacation, this property would work well. We also really appreciated the dog-friendliness. The yard was fenced well and the neighborhood was full of dogs so going on walks wasn't an issue. The only small thing to know is that the water is very different from most city or suburban water, so if you are sensitive, you may want to plan ahead with bottled water.

We were absolutely delighted with our stay in Edgewater Cottage. It was clean, convenient and very well appointed. The neighborhood was quiet but convenient to restaurants and to the Naval Academy. Very comfortable beds and great tvs. We would stay there again in a heartbeat!

Despite having two kids with summer colds, we managed to enjoy some family time together! The CVS and Urgent Care were our most visited sites but we also enjoyed a walking and boat tour of Annapolis. The accommodations were perfect, complete with the little details that made our visit feel like home. The home and town were dog and family friendly which we really appreciated. Edgewater was just what we needed to reconnect as a family. 😊

We live in Northern VA just outside of DC. Our family decided to rent the Edgewater Cottage just to take a break from the fast pace of our lives. This was a prefect get-a-way. Only an hour from our home, close to Annapolis for shopping/dinners and walking distance to a cute little neighborhood beach. We were even able to take our dog, who loves the water! There were 4 of us. My two sons (19 & 23) loved the two back rooms and the privacy. The kitchen had everything we needed and there were plenty of towels. Our host were fantastic! It was a quick trip, but would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a break from a busy life!
