About this condo rental
Nestled in Stateline, this charming condo for $71 per night is a great choice for your next vacation. ## Space Amazing Location! Literally 1.5 blocks from Highway 50 and Stateline and only a 6-minute walk to Heavenly Village & Gondola, casinos and restaurants. This is a private studio as part of a boutique 12 unit self-serve accommodation. Completely renovated in 2020, this unit comes with an en-suite bath with oversized shower, kitchenette w/Keurig machine and two queen beds as well as a work desk. Equipped with a smart TV and on-demand streaming services (occupant needs to have subscription service/no cable). All TVs and wifi are connected to Gigabit cable connectivity. *NO PARTIES: We have a strict 'No Party' policy-parties or events are not allowed. Quiet hours are enforced from 10pm-8am.* *PETS: ONLY 1 PET ALLOWED (N/A to service animals, applicable to ESA's). A $50/pet fee will apply and pets can not be left unattended in your room. Please advise at the time of booking, we will send a request for pet fee payment which is due upon receipt. Pets brought onsite without permission/payment are subject to a $250 fine. ## Access The unit is accessed off of Poplar Ave with direct access from the parking area and has 1 assigned parking spot. This unit is completely private with its own locked entry. The doors are all equipped with smart locks, a unique code will be generated and sent to you 2 days prior to your stay. Interaction This is a self-serve stay. We are an off-site host, there is no front desk and we provide contactless self-check-in. We have a dedicated hospitality department in case of emergencies. Electric car charging (shared amenity) Unit spots 1,2 and 3 share one Tesla charger. Unit spots 4,5 and 6 share one J1775. Unit spots 7 and 8 share one Tesla charger. Unit spots 9,10 and disability spot share one Tesla charger. Unit spots 12, 11, and 1 share one Tesla and one J1775 charger. We do not provide adapters if your vehicle does not match your available charger. Please do not leave your vehicle plugged in when not charging to allow other guests to have charging access. Should you require access to another charger type, please reach out to our hospitality team to coordinate access with other guests. Neighborhood Located within a 5-minute walk to the world-renowned Heavenly Village and Gondola, Gordon Ramsey Hell's Kitchen, casinos, and only a 10-minute walk to Lakeside Beach (private, access fee required). This location is ideal for those working remotely (with Gigabit internet connectivity) while enjoying everything South Lake Tahoe has to offer. Transit The Stateline Transit Center and Heavenly Gondola are only 4 blocks away. Notes For security, there are cameras facing the parking lot. Cancellation Policy Full refund if canceled 24 hours in advance, minus 4% credit card transaction fee if booked directly or via VRBO.

We walked just about everywhere because it was such a central location! Had an issue with the fireplace, staff came out right away to get it fixed!

The room was modern and had a nice feel to it but there were several issues that made the stay less enjoyable. When we arrived the unit was 50 degrees (hardly what you want to walk into after skiing all day). To make it worse, it took 8.5 hours after arriving for the room to reach 65 degrees. The hot water ran out after just one shower leaving the other person unable to shower for hours. The unit had zero rugs so water and snow was tracked every where.

My mom and I had a quick one night stay on our way to a funeral. The location is super convenient for walking to fun places. It was very clean and my only complaint was not within anyone’s control. I didn’t know the fire place is the source of heat and wasn’t lit when we arrived. I woke up at 3 am with the fire going(very bright)! Live and learn. I would stay here again!

We stayed at Chalet Unit #11 and had a very pleasant stay. When we arrived, the fireplace was turned on and it was easy for us to find our dedicated parking space and let ourselves in. The beds were very comfortable with soft sheets and comforters. There is also a very cute minifridge, microwave, real dishes, and silverware so I was able to heat soups and have breakfast in the room. Check-out was easy and the host was communicative. I highly recommend this place and we will stay here again.

This is an easy place to like--comfortable, clean, and walking distance to the center of South lake. Everything worked as advertised. Only drawback is the thin walls, though the white noise machine on the nightstand certainly helps with that.

Decent room
The room was clean, but I found it to be a bit over-priced and the television didn’t work. We were able to access all the TV apps they said they offered (Netflix, Hulu, etc.) but when you clicked on a show to watch it just froze and wouldn’t play.. anything.

Very comfortable, high quality and all your needs covered. This unit is soothing to the senses with neutral colors and very clean and organized. I appreciated how all the basic needs were covered, and then some... Great shower with ample space (and handcapped accessible), and very nice kitchenette. The bed I slept in was very comfortable. The view from the outside can be deceiving, as the parking lot is modest, but it was nice to be so pleasantly surprised. I also appreciated how the management went over the top to make this stay happen for me.

Hi,
Overall your place is charming and well situated. We really appreciated how quickly your team responded to the false fire alarm that evening and fixed the bathroom fuse too. I think the only thing I noticed was that your linens looked a little worn down and I expect that's because you have had a flood of visitors during the pandemic. There was a stain on the bed cover etc...
The one thing I would ask is if the blind above the two beds in Chalet 11 could cover the whole width of the window. I understand if that was a desire to let in light but the light woke me up in the morning. Could get a pull-up shade from bottom to top so that covered the whole width of the window? This way if those who wanted a totally black room could or then others could adjust the amount of light coming in too.
I would come to stay again though.

Had a very enjoyable stay at the Chalet in Lake Tahoe! Walking distance to the lake and the shops at Heavenly. The unit was very clean and comfortable. We felt safe in the area it was located in and even though it is close to all the action there were no noise disturbances.

We stayed here just for one night as we were making our way back home from California. The location was perfect - 5 minutes to the beach and 5 minutes to shopping, eating and walking around. The unit itself was very clean, nicely decorated and the beds were so comfy. Got a great night sleep. Would definitely stay again if we go back.

Chalet Unit 11 @ 942 Poplar Ave
Location was great and the room was exactly as advertised in the pictures. The side windows facing the property line need window coverings and the shower is a handicap style so the water is a little difficult to contain with the hanging shower curtain. But otherwise the room was very nice and clean. Will stay again in the future.

Highly recommend!!! I would stay here again! Friendly staff who taught us how to lock the padlock door and made sure we didn’t need anything else! Unit 11 was Beautiful and comfortable for two people to stay. The fire place was super nice in the room. Great location!!! Looking forward to stay here again!!!

It was an overall good stay
The room was updated and designed well. I wish there was another mirror other than the bathroom so you don’t have to wait to put your makeup on until the other person is out of the bathroom. Communication could have been better. We drove up from San Francisco for an overnight stay. I had asked in advance if we could check in early to make the most of our very short stay. I had not heard any communication back from the rental other than several of the same generalized messages. Then at the last minute I get emailed that the room was ready. It would have been nice to hear back from the rental company via text or call and not leave it to a last minute email which I don’t always check. I continued to receive 4 or 5 of the same computer generated emails. And less than 24 hrs in advance , I get the email stating there is no late check out due to stringent cleaning protocols. There was hot chocolate spilled behind the nightstand and ritz crackers that were left from the previous guests. Being in the health care profession, I can tell there were no kind of stringent cleaning protocols met. That made me question a lot including the safety for my family especially during a pandemic. The next door guests were partying until very late hours playing loud music and clearly intoxicated. There were smoking marijuana and every other word was a curse word. Not exactly the environment I’d like to surround our 2 young daughters. The location was fine as it was close to everything however the air bnb stated it was an apt. It was not an apt ... more of an updated motel room. Personally... it was fine but could have been much better.

Very clean, quiet and easy checkin! Convenient location with easy walks to heavenly and lake. Very cozy with the fireplace. Nice little kitchenette and TV setup. Will definitely stay again. Great value for what you get.
