About this cottage rental
Located in Manasota Key, this charming cottage for $245 per night is a fantastic option for your next vacation. 2 BR Cottage Enjoy our spacious and modern, 2 bedroom cottage, with new furnishings and updated kitchen and bathroom. You'll love the private beach access right outside your front door, just a few steps down the paved walkway to the sand. Our roomy cottage has two bedrooms. The king bedroom has one king sized bed. The twins bedroom has two single beds. Relax on the large and privacy fence enclosed patio with gas grill, plenty of seating, dining table, and a fire pit with seating area. Spend your day relaxing, fishing, swimming and searching for shells and shark teeth on the beach. There are beach chairs and towels available. Enjoy super fast WIFI and cable TV. There is a washer and dryer on site in the common area. We are dog friendly, any size! 2 dogs max. At the time of booking, please let us know if you are bringing one or two dogs along. The fee for one dog is $115. The fee for two dogs is $165. We hope you'll love our location as much as we do! Being at the beach, hearing the waves while you relax on the patio, enjoying the most beautiful sunset you'll ever see, in addition to being close to the local restaurants and nightly entertainment make it the perfect getaway. Manasota Key Beach House 2 is a triplex with the choice of this 2 bedroom, a large 1 bedroom or another smaller 1 bedroom. Each unit has their own fenced in patio. We enjoyed our stay very much and hope to come back another time. You can’t get closer to the beach without being on it! Beautiful cottage with everything we needed to relax and enjoy our time. Don’t miss the great yard to hang out in and the AMAZING tree! Hosts are helpful and quick to reply to any and all questions. Had a wonderful seafood dinner at Landy’s. Such a treat to stay here!

The place stunk… I had to wash all my clothing when returning home… back yard was disgusting… moths all over the building…old inflatable toys all covered with leaves and dirt...Left after 3 nights after paying for 5… We’re outside people… it was cold and windy and being stuck inside this place was not enjoyable…you can hear everything the tenant next door is saying… not my cup of tea….might have been more tolerable if the weather was better and you could enjoy the fenced in yard.

Second time staying here and I can only say wonderful things. It’s clean, tastefully decorated and peaceful. Just a few steps from the beach. We will likely be coming back in the summer if available! Thank you we enjoyed our stay.

Perfect location! The beach is a very short walk and so nice. Loved the location near beach and restaurants. The only thing I would upgrade would be add beach towels and some better beach chairs (we do realize that October is the end of the season and thus the need to upgrade these items due to use all summer). The living room/kitchen space is fantastic. Very large area and great hand out space.
I was not a fan of the shared laundry due to the limited time use. If you have an inconsiderate person in the other rental it really limits ability to use laundry. With this noted I would definitely rent this place again! The positive far out weight any minimal inconvience.

The house was spotless upon arrival. Everything we needed for the week was there. It is a very short walk to the beach. The host was avaliable if we needed anything. We have already booked another stay.

The cottage is beautifully decorated
and nicely laid out. The yard is fenced in and private with two tables (one with a fire pit). A huge banyan tree makes it very tropical.
The fireplace is electric and with the heat turned off you can have a beautiful fire all the time.
The yard is all shells so shoes are required and dog walks are needed (grass and great sidewalk right at end of cottage). Kitchen well stocked. Comcast Cable TV has netflix and prime.
There is no dresser in the master. There are two drawers in the closet. Bathroom is nice and roomy. No shelf in shower for soap/shampoo etc.
The walk to the beach is very short and there is a shower/rinse station right off the beach.
Close to the village but not too close.
Sandbar Tiki & Grill... it doesn't get better than this.
When we come back to Englewood this will be our home away from home!!

The location of this 2 bedroom cottage is just a short walk to the beach so you can come & go throughout the day which is nice. It was comfortable for our family of three and enjoyed walking to the beach for evening sunsets. We were disappointed to find the patio and patio table dirty upon our arrival, but after sweeping it off, we used it. We had planned to use the paddleboard which was included in the listing, but did not because the plastic was peeling off the sides of it. When he notified the owner, they said they had been using it this way for years. While that might be fine for someone's personal use, it's not ok for a rental. In addition to potentially hurting someone, the pieces of plastic could easily break off into the ocean. I shared with the owner several others items that needed to be repaired or replaced and was ignored.

Loved this cottage! It is clean, comfortable, and spacious. The cottage is fully equipped with everything you need for an enjoyable vacation. Parking is conveniently in front of the cottage. There is a relaxing backyard to read a book and enjoy your morning coffee. The beach is steps away. Have a glass of wine and watch the sun go down. Thank you for sharing your property with us.

Literally 70 feet from the beach! Comfortable couch and beds, good kitchen set up with 2 barstools and large table for a decent work space. Also, relaxing backyard fire pit area fenced in for our Golden. We had a few days of “red tide“ which made us go inland. But after that, the beach was good, not crowded, quiet and it was awesome to just step out and enjoy all day in our chairs. loved it so much – this was our second trip here

Much bigger than we thought it would be, very open, easy to keep clean, and great location. A few suggestions: Need additional ice maker as fridge designed to only fill a few glasses at a time. Fence gate to high to contain pets, and guest need key or code to access through outdoors. Plastic mattress cover makes bed very uncomfortable, noisy and hot. Need umbrella for shade in yard otherwise it is to hot to enjoy. Need wagon or cart to carry items to beach. Need door mat back door and access to water spigot.

The fenced in back yard was perfect for my dogs, the location was great, the house was clean with a well stocked kitchen. The host was great, super responsive and very nice. We will be back. :)

Great little beach spot!
We had such a fun time, beach access was so close, house was perfect for our family of 4, and dogs. The back yard was a great touch, and plenty of amenities!! We will definitely be back! Thanks for a great time.

Very nice place to stay. Up to date appliances, cold A/C, shower is great. The beds were comfortable also. Short walk to beach would definitely stay again. Also, the grill and private backyard was a plus.

Manasota get-a-way
It was perfect. The cottage was spacious and very clean; with an updated kitchen and bathroom. The kitchen has a granite countertop and all appliances are stainless steel. A very short walk to the beach. We loved it and can't wait to return.

Perfect location
This was a stellar property. Super cute, great condition, amazing ocean access, impeccably clean. Owners communicated everything we needed to know, were quick with responses to questions, and were not intrusive during our stay. Perfect experience, and we would definitely stay again if we are in this area in the future.
