Nestled in Spring Valley, this charming house for $428 per night is a great option for your next break. This professionally decorated home's spacious open floor plan along with vaulted ceilings provides plenty of room for your group's comfortable stay .The large open living room, kitchen, dining room, and family room provides ample room indoors for those activities that make for wonderful experiences for all ages whether it's cooking, eating together at the kitchen bar and large dining room or enjoying initimate chats, watching media or playing board games in the family room. The outdoor areas make this property a dream come true for those who enjoy the beautiful sunshine and balmy weather the San Diego area offers year round! The large back patio adjoining the family room has a gas barbque, a fire pit, and a raised platform with outdoor dining table and umbrellas with a couch and chairs as well. Outside the master bedroom is another covered deck with seating area providing a peaceful, serene view overlooking a green canyon with large palms. The third outdoor setting greets guests as they enter the front door with more patio seating and gorgeous landscaping. The perfect place to enjoy a drink and watch the sunset over San Diego and the ocean! The house features a large master bedroom with king bed, 2nd bedroom has a queen with full bed over and a single day bed with memory foam mattress.The 3rd bedroom has 2 sets of twin bunk beds with quality hotel mattresses. The home is situated on a 3/4 acre private road with lots of parking and privacy. It is nestled into the hillside providing a wonderful retreat only 15 minutes from downtown, the beaches, and many other attractions. Easy freeway accessibility.

I texted to owner to report a broken Microwave handle, towel location and limited TVs. She came and showed me the towel closet, which didn’t look like a closet, she said she should label it and couldn’t do anything about the microwave handle and TVs. The owner responded with derogatory comments about me and my family. Her text stated that I looked like a fool and me & my relatives had egg on our face. The owner also stated she was going to Africa to climb a mountain. I guess she trying to make us feel comfortable since we were a group of elderly black people. All of us that stayed in the house were over 60 years old. We were in San Diego for my brother-in-law’s funeral. We were already grieving from that and I certainly didn’t need to feel additional pain from mistreatment. I planned to inform the rest of my family & friends about my experience . I’m not sure if I will use Vrbo again.

What i enjoyed the most about this home was the outside: the deck off the master bedroom, wonderful to sit outside with a book and hearing the birds early morning, as well as watch the sunset. The back patio was also great, with fresh peaches right off a tree, a grill with a stove top, where we cooked repeatedly for our kids. Plus, a full dining table where we had breakfasts. Inside is great too, with very comfy couches (and lots of seating space for our family of seven). Fully stocked kitchen too. Location can be tricky to find if you arrive late at night like we did, so plan ahead (especially if you are not used to hills). Beds were a bit on the soft side for us, but everything else was wonderful. Make sure you check the great taco place which is 5 minutes from the house. Home is just a short drive to downtown San Diego and well worth it. Would definitely stay again.

What a gem Mary’s home is. We came to celebrate friendship after a long couple of years and needed a communal, comfortable, home to do so. This home has everything— a stocked kitchen, comfy beds, proximity to activities in San Diego, it was amazing! Mary was so communicative and helpful, we will definitely be back!

To begin with, Mary is the hostess I never knew I needed! She was there to greet us when we arrived, showed us around the house, answered questions we had, and generally welcomed us. I’ve never had somebody greet us at the house, so I didn’t realize I had missed it! The house was wonderful too! They made very nice choices on the updates to the house, and we all commented on the giant hallway bathroom as we went by. The house had the perfect amount of space for four adults and two little ones. The outdoor spaces were also lovely, and shockingly clean! I was pleasantly surprised that there was almost no dust on the dining table out back. The location was just right for our needs, close to the freeway, but not too close to downtown. Nice, quiet, and relaxing. Highly recommend!

Enjoyable Celebration Weekend

Great location, Lots of Room, Tidy & Clean
Rented out for a bachelor party weekend. The place has a lot of open area inside and out to hang out. Great location and view of the valley. Separated enough from the surrounding houses to get a sense of privacy. Clean, and enough beds to fit a larger party (8).

House made for families
Mary’s place was exactly what we needed for an extended family stay. My favorite aspects are the patios…three in fact to lounge and enjoy the perfect San Diego weather, and the beautifully and colorful decorations. We had a large group but never felt crowded. A tray of fresh fruit and a bag of coffee awaited us making our late night check in welcoming.

Perfect Getaway Home for Large Groups or Families
This location is exactly what the photos provide, and then some. Humongous parking area for 4+ cars. Multiple living rooms with more than enough space. Bedrooms for children, teens and adults. Plenty of seating inside and outside for lounging, relaxing, dinning, patio and master deck, which overlooks the many hills of San Diego. Kitchen has an abundant amount of anything you could need for cooking and drinking. Plus a nifty ice maker! The property manager was super kind and did not hesitate to offer her services whenever we needed them. Great getaway model home for large families. 5 mins to nearest grocery and food. Approx 20-30 mins to beach with amazing views of hilly San Diego along the way. Definite 10 out of 10 vacation home.
