Ich habe selten so herzliche und offene Gastgeber getroffen! Die beiden machen den Aufenthalt zu etwas ganz besonderem. Wir haben jeden Abend im Agriturismo gegessen und Patrizia hat täglich frisch mit Produkten aus eigener Herstellung traditionelle Gerichte aus der Toskana gekocht. Das Abendessen ist immer eine Überraschung und hat immer hervorragend geschmeckt!
Das Agritiurismo liegt sehr idyllisch in einem Naturschutzgebiet, perfekt zum Wandern/Spazieren. Gleichzeitig ist man aber auch mit dem Auto schnell in Volterra.

Er heerst een absolute stilte, unieke locatie midden in de natuur. Toscane is hier op zijn mooist. Patrizia en Mario doen er alles aan om het je naar de zin te maken. Het ontbijt was goed, verse cappuccino, lekkere croissants, maar ook roerei op verzoek. Uitstekende menukaart voor het diner. Er werd altijd gekookt voor ons, al waren mijn man en ik een paar dagen de enige gasten, omdat we buiten het seizoen kwamen. Super lekker gegeten iedere avond! De prijs kwaliteitverhouding is geweldig. Wij komen zeker terug!
Het laatste stuk van de weg is onverhard en soms lastig, maar dan kom je ook in een paradijs terecht!!!

I loved the warm welcome and hospitality offered by Patrizia and Mario. They both went out of their way to make our stay so memorable. Amazing and authentic home cooking by Patrizia.
It was a little remote in Berignone National Park but that just added to its charm. So calm and peaceful.

Friendly owners and quite place.
There is a spacious very well equipped common kitchen if you want to cook your own food. (but they charge you an additional 10€ if you use it). The kitchen has a nice but small terras where you can eat and enjoy sunset. But there is only place for 2 people...

The swimming pool is small and not at all as the pictures on the site suggest. Moreover, we could not use it when we were there. Water needed treatment... Around the pool there are no chairs, sun loungers or parasols. Actually, no loungers or parasols on the whole domain. Only some not so comfortable wooden banks.
Also the place is very remote. The way to the main road is 5km, very steep and during 4km gravel. The location and view is nice, but you are at one of the lowest points in the valley, so it is not as breath-taking as it is on the heights around Volterra...
