The location and views were exceptional, and regular visits from the local wild boar community an absolute delight!
It was quite dated and could do with abit of a refurbishment. The cistern cover on the toilet adjoining the master bedroom was made of polystyrene and had to be removed each time in order to flush. There also appeared to be an issue with the drain connecting the sink and the bath as when the sink was in use, water drained very slowly and then came up briefly through the bath plug hole.
The pool area was also very dated. Railings into the pool had been removed and not replaced and the top step had some unsightly red tape around it, no doubt to protect users from the chipped tiles.
We had at least 3 visits from the pool cleaner who seemed unhappy with the water clarity but he assured us that the relevant treatments made it safe to use.
Finally, the parking allocation for the villa wasn’t clear and we had to have several conversations with neighbours on the other side of the road who kept parking in the two spaces outside the villa. A sign saying these were reserved would have helped alleviate these annoyances.

Beautiful view, beautiful town, great sunsets. Irreplaceable large swimming pool. Mini Wild and visiting cats were a nice attraction for children. Perfect for a week's rest.
No wifi and TV not working.
