About this farm stay rental
Nestled in Milton, this charming farm stay for $89 per night is a fantastic option for your next break. 200 year old farmhouse located on the Lamoille River. River access and 12 acres to explore. We are approximately 20 minutes from downtown Burlington. The entire upstairs is for guests, 3 bedrooms, 1 bathroom, and living room area. Kitchen and dining room are shared spaces. There is an enclosed and exposed porch with a grill and pizza oven. Fire pit and hammock near the gardens out back with a view of our sweet goats, ducks, and chickens. We have private access to the river for kayaking, canoeing, and fishing. Private yoga classes are available either on the docks or in the gardens. If you're looking for quiet and serene, this property is ideal.

Our space was warm, welcoming, and well-decorated. The space was well thought out, and the needed things were easy to find. Check-in was effortless and was in a great location. One note is that the guest space is upstairs with no full door to separate the host and guest spaces. The stairs and layout separated the space naturally, but we were unaware of this before coming in. This was not a big deal! We felt we had our area, and it was very private. Just a helpful note for others.

Riverview was the perfect location for a highschool reunion of girlfriends 45 years in the making. The use of the kitchen was a generous gift from our hosts, and the sweet doggies were very welcoming. The upstairs rooms were well appointed and exceeded our expectations. We had a great time. Thanks!

We stayed for two nights. The farmhouse is lovely as are the hosts. Every thing was clean and fresh. The shower and bathroom worked well. We will definitely stay again if we have the opportunity.

Where to start?! Proprietor Jessica was easy to work with even via messaging, before we even made our decision. She remained pleasant, effective, and warm throughout our stay. It's a darling and very comfortable lodging in a quiet rural setting - yet only minutes from the stirring vibe of downtown Burlington. Rooms are clean, inviting, and comfortable, and it all becomes home very soon. Everything about this property and accommodation is as advertised and beyond! We went up to the Burlington area to connect with some friends, this time. But we have already decided that we will soon book wit Jessica again - simply to stay in that house again! Do yourself a favor - book some time there. You'll have trouble leaving, as well. Oh - and the rates are very reasonable. Enjoy!

It was wonderful to have the entire second floor to ourselves, as we had three bedrooms and a sitting (small living) room. Jessica and Chad were most accommodating, and we definitely enjoyed staying here. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a pleasant place to stay in the Burlington area.

The hosts are very kind, and not imposing at all. Gave us all the space we could want. The animals, were fantastic. Jessica showed my daughter how to feed them, and she would have slept with goats, had we let her. It is a peaceful, clean, country get away. Anything you need is a short ride away. Should we be back in the area, and revisit is surely in order. I will suggest this property to others.

We had a relaxing stay with Jessica and Chad. They were very accommodating. The place was clean and spacious. It was about 10 minutes from a state park and Lake Champlain, a little further to the Champlain islands.

Our family of 6 found the accomodations at River Watch very comfortable. The 3 bedrooms and living area provided us plenty of room. Our living quarters were very clean and the beds exceptionally comfortable. Chad and Jessica were excellent hosts and went out of their way to ensure our stay was the best it could possibly be. The property is well kept and provides a relaxing environment. We plan to stay at River Watch for our return trips to Vermont. Thank you for making our trip into a lasting memory.

Jessica was really great and helpful and we loved her dogs and the goats. We unfortunately had to be evacuated and leave due to the floods but Jessica refunded our whole trip and we hope to come back again.

We had a pathetic experience staying at this property. The host did not treat us well at all, and asked for additional charges in cash. Even after confirming with Vrbo customer service multiple times, she asked us to pay additional charges in cash. Vrbo customer service kept calling her multiple times to clarify but instead clarifying with Vrbo, she started harrasing us for additional money. Then she asked us to leave instantly, it was already so embarrasing being treated this way so we started packing our stuff. And thats when she and her husband completely lost it and started shouting at us and threatened that we leave in 20 seconds or they will call the police. We were just loading up our luggage in the car and they kept shouting so aggressively, it was very traumatic for us. While leaving, she showed us the middle finger and her husband attacked our car of which we also have a recorded video.
Additionally, there was no separate entry and the host lived in the house. It was such a horrible experience for me and my family. Would definitely not recommend this to anyone!

We loved spending time with Jess, Chad, Norman, Poppy, the goats and chickens. We were looking for some serious down time. We had just spent 5 really busy day at our nephew's wedding. Loved learning about their beautiful 200 year old farmhouse. Jess and Chad we definitely will return! Thanks for your wonderful hospitality.

We absolutely loved this location. Jessica & Chad were the perfect hosts, the beds were extremely comfortable, the setting was so beautiful along the river, and the house itself was roomy and comfy. We highly recommend this property. For quiet and peaceful, it was ideal.

This is an amazing space to explore the Burlington area and its environs. Located on a farm, just across the street from the Lamoille River, this property is the ideal space to both rest and explore the area. Jessica and Chad are amazing hosts. They are native Vermonters and have the best recommendations about places to visit, spots to eat (try the Burger Barn if you're near Cambridge Junction), and things to do. I thoroughly enjoyed this stay. Highly recommend.

We stayed at the farmhouse for the weekend of my daughters graduation and it was perfect! The house is spacious, clean, comfortable and has modern conveniences. The hosts are super nice and we enjoyed getting to know them. Perfect for a family or group of friends.

What a amazing place to stay!
The Loft is clean, comfortable, peaceful with a beautiful view of Glen Cove. It is also convenient to all areas along Maine Mid-coast.
Siobhan and Alex are excellent hosts, welcomed us when we checked in and checked on us in the middle of our stay to see if everything went okay. They made themselves available when you need them and made everything perfect!

Chad and Jessica are great hosts, we had the whole upstairs,3 large bedrooms, large bathroom, sitting area and a small fridge . Bring ur passport ur only an hr from Canada border.

We checked in well and had a wonderful evening sitting by the river drinking wine. The hosts gave us great recommendations for nearby places to eat and drink. Two rooms looked out over the river and had great views. On the Saturday of our stay, the University of Vermont rowing team was using the river for a regatta. Great place to stay.

Visiting my UVM son and stayed here for 3 nights. It was great to get away and enjoy sometime away from the hustle and bustle of the city. (Still close enough for dinners in Burlington). The hosts were easy to communicate and available I’d needed

We had a nice, long weekend visiting friends near this Vrbo and enjoyed our stay. Jessica and Chad were communicative and so good with our little kids. The space that we rented was spacious and good for us to hang in on our down time. We all loved the dogs and the goats! One thing I’d recommend for anyone with littles who can’t be trusted near stairs is to bring a gate.

We were only there one night, Jessica greeted us, we had a fire in the fireplace and just enjoyed her home. We shared kitchen, and made a delicious breakfast and were on our way to explore Burlington! Seeing the university of Vermont crew team rowing down the river in front of the farmhouse was a bonus.
