About this cabin rental
Nestled in North Lawrence, this charming cabin for $434 per night is a great option for your next break. This 4800 sq. ft. 5 bed, 4 bath home has lots of space and amazing views! Main level has a bedroom and 2 full baths, open great room/kitchen/dining area and large deck with gas grill. Upper level has 2 bedrooms, full bath and loft with couch and TV. Lower level has 2 more bedrooms, full bath, and game room with foosball, pool table and bar area. The house sleeps 18 with 5 queen beds, 3 twin bunk beds, and 1 pullout couch. Hot tub is off lower patio. Just 1 mile to ski slopes and 2 blocks to snowmobile/ATV trails. For an additional fee there is an apartment above the garage to give your group even more room to spread out. Apartment sleeps 4 with 1 queen bed and 1 full size futon. Just 8 miles from Deadwood. Next to Grand View Lodge if you need 2 large homes for your group! **AWD/4WD is necessary if it snows before or during your stay. *RVs/Tents not allowed

A great space for a large group. Lots of bedrooms and bathrooms. The basement provided a secondary space to hang out after the kids went to bed. Highly recommend.

This house is perfect for a family get together. All ages loved it The location couldn’t be better. Views are fantastic. Quiet neighborhood. It was clean and well stocked. More than met our expectations!

This cabin was so nice!! We really loved the whole thing. The only downfall if it was the road into the driveway. It was super icy and hard to make the corner.

This place was perfect!! Blocks from Terry Peak for the skiers, short drive to Deadwood for the gamblers, and plenty of room for the whole family to stay!

We booked this cabin with family to celebrate my parents’ 35th anniversary. It was beautiful and spacious for many activities to occur on all three levels at the same time, which was perfect for our big group. As others have mentioned in their reviews, there were some minor broken things needing attention, the fireplaces took quite some time to figure out and get to work, and the Direct TV didn’t work (but we didn’t book this trip to watch TV 🙂). Despite these minor issues, Anne was great to communicate with from the beginning. We unexpectedly had to reschedule our trip and we appreciate her flexibility and ease of making this happen. The hot tub was definitely a favorite and we had a beautiful view of the unexpected snowfall the night before we left. You definitely need AWD/FWD to get in/out with no difficulties in the snow as the description states. If not, be prepared to make friends with some nice people who help push you up the hills. 😂

We loved the spacious house with three levels. It was a great fit for us (as we are a mix of tall, large and smaller people), which included: me the renter, my two adult kids, and their spouses, 13 year old boy/girl twins and a three year old.
I chose it for a couple reasons:
1. by the time I was able to make a decision, it had the best view, and # of BD's and BA's to fit our needs.
2. All the rentals near Mount Rushmore had disappeared.
3. We absolutely would rent it again, but in the summer, so we could enjoy the view from the deck.

We had a great time. No real complaints, some things were not as promised. (i.e. no king bed, was a queen, two queen bedroom was one queen). Probably the biggest concern was the smoke alarm was in the bedside drawer and not hooked up on a wall in the upstairs. Lots of small repairs needed.

The house was perfect for our large group. We were able to entertain inside and out on the wrap around deck. The weather was perfect. I would highly recommend this beautiful home for your stay in the Black Hills !

We stayed a couple of weekends ago to go skiing at Terry Peak. We were only about a 3 minute drive to the ski resort so the location was great! We had 6 different families stay with a a variety of ages and it worked out great. The bunk beds in a few of the rooms helped so much with the families with younger kids and older kids/adults loved the pool table, foosball table and hot tub. Everything worked great and we had enough room for all of us. The ONLY thing that was something to keep in mind is to bring your own cups. There was enough coffee mugs in the house but maybe only 3 other cups and for our huge group we didn't plan on having to bring cups and had to make special trip to go and get some. Also, the driveway is steep and it snowed during our stay so make sure you have vehicles that can go up a steep incline in possible mud. I would 100% recommend this cabin and we will hopefully use it again in the future.
