About this cabin rental
Welcome to the Chatthhoochee National Forest in North Georgia Mountains where year round adventures begin. You will park your vehicle and walk almost everywhere in Downtown Helen. So much to do with shopping, dinning, golfing (mini and 18 holes in Innsbruck), tubing, gem mining, roller coaster, zip line for all ages and the list goes on! Chalet Munich is located above a retail space and the hours of operation are 11am-9pm. The guests will have the entire upstairs floor for their privacy. Chalet Munich is not handicap friendly and stairs are needed to enter the unit. The parking is in the rear of building for one vehicle. The interior is a modern rustic with handmade wooden furniture. You have your own private balcony with a city view. Check-In information: 1. List of all guests staying 2. Make and model of vehicle 3. A good email address and phone number (information will be emailed) 4. A picture of your drivers license (the person who booked)

This is the coolest little spot in Helen. It's location was perfect for walking the town but being away from the foot and car traffic. Accommodations are simple but tasteful. The little balcony is perfect for having a drink and people watching. Be aware there is no kitchen sink and the festive lights are on all night (and bright) but it that hardly hinders the enjoyment of finding this little hidden gem. We would definitely like to return in the future.

Chalet Munich was the perfect stay for my wife and I! Clean, cozy and convenient! Definitely located within the hot spots of Helen and walkable from the main strip! The smell of fresh popcorn and pretzels was amazing! We had to go down stairs and get a pretzel! Delicious! We can’t wait to return and stay at Chalet Munich!

Our stay was perfect in every way, super clean and very cozy! We loved it, and will definitely book again. We stayed New Years Eve weekend and watched the Edelweiss Flower drop at midnight from our balcony!! Location 👍 we walked everywhere and best part was our favorite restaurant was literally right next door, Bodensee!

The host thought of everything. They even gave us caramel popcorn from their precious shop below and left water in the fridge. The chalet was so tastefully decorated. I love the idea of the closet behind the bed. The chalet was clean and located in close proximity to everything. We had a wonderful stay. I highly recommend this darling little studio while visiting Helen, Georgia.

What a gem right there in Helen! The property was immaculate and very welcoming. We loved sitting on the balcony to enjoy the unbelievably beautiful weather and some great people-watching!!! The thoughtful hosts definitely go above and beyond to make sure that guests have all they need. We are already trying to determine when we can visit again! Don’t hesitate…this place is perfect for a couple visiting Helen!

I would’ve preferred a small cooking stove instead of washer/dryer… Lights from building lite up the entire room at night need black out curtains instead of mini blinds.would definitely stay again for a week end get away…

We had a fantastic time at this super cute chalet! Located in the heart of everything that Helen has to offer, we only drove once when we visited Anna Ruby Falls. Played mini golf literally right behind the chalet, had wonderful German cuisine right next door & had the charcuterie board from downstairs which was absolutely delicious! Would definitely stay here again! Loved it! ❤️

Nice property and very nice efficiency apartment. Great location, close to everything. The only drawback about the apartment is there are no curtains on the windows and at night there are lights framing both ends of the roof and the mini blinds do not block out the light well. It made it hard to sleep. At the shop down stairs I was not treated well by one of the employees on one of the times I went in there. The other times they were very nice.

This is our favorite place to stay in Helen so far. I really hope we can get this one from now on.
This place was cozy but had plenty of room at the same time. We usually try to stay on the water but I have to say sitting on the balcony over the street was a lot of fun. The furniture and linings were all very clean the location was perfect. Private parking was definitely a plus. No other cars could park even close to us.
Any time I do a review I try to include cons. I'm sure there ar plenty of picky people that could find one but I really can't.

My husband and I stayed in Helen for the weekend and this was the perfect location for a couple. Conveniently located, easily walk everywhere in Helen and no noise from others like in a hotel. Since you are the only ones there no one is slamming doors or stomping their feet, it is peaceful and quiet. Love the reclining couch, perfect way to relax after a long day. We would recommend this locto any couple planningto visit Helen.

Great location. Ease of checking in and checking out. Communications were good with owners. Had a great time. The free popcorn was delicious. We ended up buying pretzels because the smells from the business below was irresistible. Mini golf was in the back yard. Easy walk to everywhere. We will be back. Wonderful trip.

My husband and I visit Helen 4-6 times per year. We have stayed everywhere, but this place is by far the ABSOLUTE BEST. We will never stay anywhere else. Most places we’ve stayed offer a great location but put no effort into other aspects. This place is in a perfect location, spotless, comfortable and prepared. Thank you for providing a wonderful service!

Highly recommend staying here, it was so cute. 10/10. Within walking distance of literally everything. We parked the car and didn’t get back in until we were ready to head home. We will be back!

Perfect spot for the wife and I on a Memorial Day weekend getaway. Location is fantastic and we only had to drive twice the entire 4 days due to traveling to wineries. Highly recommend.

We LOVED this property. The property is right down the street from Helen-- a very short walk.
The owners are very very nice. The popcorn they make is AMAZING.
The only problem I had was we could smell pretzels being cooked downstairs and I had to go get one!

Stayed in an upstairs studio in downtown Helen. It was walking distance to everything in Helen. Nice place for a week end get away. There is a shop located below the studio with minimal noise. The shop cleses fairly early and opens up late. Would stay again.

Everything was great. It is the perfect size for a couple. You absolutely cannot beat the location. Across the street from the roller coaster and less than a 3 minute walk to the main st area. We will definitely be back.

We really loved staying in this cozy little space. We were there over Christmas and spent six nights in this little apartment. It was so centrally located that we were a quick two minute walk from the Main Street area of Helen. We enjoyed several mornings of hot chocolate and muffins, and to wake up almost every morning to the smell of baked goods is almost too much to ask for. We were there over the "big freeze" and the little apartment stayed nice and cozy warm even when it was 7 degrees outside. We would definitely stay again.

It was just the 2 of us for a short 2 night stay. I was nervous because I hate having to drive and find parking so this was perfect. We had a designated parking spot and walked everywhere. This was the perfect spot for us. We spent our time exploring all the shops and eateries instead of driving and parking. The open 1 room concept worked fine for us. Everything was clean and well stocked. Thanks for having us. Will send others your way. We have 3 homes on Norris Lake that we rent out so we understand the value of reviews.

Good experience! Only suggestion is a rug would have been helpful near the door. It rained and we needed to wipe our feet instead of tracking in wet feet.

I cannot say enough about this property and the owners. This rental is brand new and was right above the owner’s coffee shop. It was the cutest place that we’ve ever stayed in and was right downtown. It was next door to the best German restaurant in Helen. Once we were there, we walked everywhere. Mr. Bruce was showed us great hospitality and his coffee shop is divine. I would recommend this rental to anyone. It is top notch!
