Nestled in Brevard, this attractive house for $245 per night is a fantastic option for your next break. Relax on the porch of this 3/2 house just a block from Main Street in Brevard. Easily walk to Brevard College, Quotations Coffee Cafe on Main Street or the Farmers Market on Saturday. The fenced in space includes a large fire pit table and 4 burner grill so you can enjoy the mountain air during dinner. After a full day exploring all that the area has to offer recline on the dual reclining couch or power recliner. Have a great night's sleep in one of 2 comfy king beds or the queen bed. Sunlight welcomes you into each room of this charming home, starting with the large picture window in the living room. Newly furnished with comfort in mind, the living room offers a smart TV to enjoy your favorite shows and movies on Netflix. The fireplace is not functioning, but you can enjoy the warmth and ambiance of the large firepit on the back porch. Both the front porch and the back patio are fully fenced so you can safely let your children and pets play while you use the large gas grill. Store your bikes in the locking outside shed. Wake up refreshed after a good night's sleep in the soft bedding provided in each bedroom. Enjoy your morning coffee on the front porch while listening to the birds, Keurig coffee maker and starter coffee pods provided. The house is an easy walk downtown, where you can find a variety of quality restaurants. If you enjoy beer tasting there are numerous breweries in the area and live music can be found on King Street. Enjoy the summer concert series at the Brevard music center which is a 5 minute drive from the cottage. The Porter Center at Brevard College hosts local and national groups and artists and is walking distance from the Hideaway in Downtown Brevard. Be sure to check their websites for upcoming events. Saturday morning you can walk to the Brevard Farmers market, located just up Johnson on the other side of Main Street. Silvermont and Franklin Street parks are also an easy walk away.

The house was really comfortable and well organized. Really enjoyed how close we were to the downtown shops and restaurants. We were able to walk our dog all around the area and she really enjoyed the fenced in backyard. We will definitely want to stay at the house again.

Our dog was attacked by a pit bull within hours of our arrival so we did not get to enjoy all of the activities we had planned. The house was very comfortable and we enjoyed the backyard with fireplace

Overall this is a 5 star property if you are traveling with kids and dogs. The fenced in yard is great to keep them active and to hang out in the morning, afternoon, or evening. You can enjoy watching the street view or privacy of the backyard with the fire pit. The location is perfect with just a short walk into town making it easy for everyone. The check in process and communication with Tondra was easy. The place was clean and had all the amenities that we were looking for. We will definetly stay here again when we visit.

Very cute place, nicely decorated, all in an ideal location! The fenced in back yard was a good fit for our dog. There are so many locations - shops and restaurants - that are all within walking distance. Hiking, breweries, and other sightseeing are all easily accessible from here, too.

What a wonderful house with a great outdoor living area, and it is a walk of just a few minutes to all of the shops and restaurants. We were in town during the White Squirrel Festival, and this was the perfect location to easily walk to and from town. At the end of the day, we all enjoyed relaxing on the back porch around the fire pit. The house was exactly as described, and Tondra was great to deal with. I am certain that we will be back!

Our family highly recommends this property. It was cozy, comfortable, clean and convenient. Downtown Brevard shopping and restaurants were only a block away. We appreciated the dog-friendly space and you can tell the owner gives this home lots of TLC. The inside is lovely and the outdoor spaces add a nice touch. The front porch is a wonderful spot to drink your cup of coffee before going out to explore all that Brevard and the surrounding area have to offer. We hope to have an opportunity to stay at 'The Hideaway' again!

This home had everything we needed for our Christmas stay in Brevard. It is wonderfully close to downtown, very nicely appointed with comfortable beds and living room furniture, and had many special touches for our 'fur baby'. We would love to come back when it is warmer to enjoy all the great outdoor spaces as well!

Great small house in incredible location

We chose this house because our family group (my husband and I and our 2 sons - ages 24 and 17) fit perfectly into the three separate bedrooms with large beds, and because of its proximity to downtown Brevard. Its size and location were exactly what we were looking for. With four adults or almost-adult residents, we found the three living areas (living room, kitchen table, back porch) to be exactly the amount of space we needed to spread out. We cooked one meal and one dessert in the kitchen; everything we needed was available. Tondra's raised-bed gardens are beautiful, and she encouraged us to try the herbs and cherry tomatoes (they were good!). Our dog was very happy with the fenced yard. But I saved the best thing for last: to get anywhere in Brevard, just grab a key, lock it up and walk out the door. We walked to coffee shops, restaurants and shopping, and took the dog on walks through the deserted downtown early in the morning. Pretty much everywhere we went was a 5-minute walk from the house. The house just feels welcoming and has very good air conitioning. It's a great place to stay!

A terrific and comfortable home located less than a block from restaurants, shops. and the Saturday Farmer's Market. It was the perfect location for the White Squirrel weekend festivities. Communication with Tondra was great and she provided dog bowls and waste bags for my pups. The beautiful fenced yard with multiple sitting areas was delightful for the humans and the dogs. The home is nicely furnished with comfortable beds and bedding. Checking in and out was very easy. I look forward to returning again later this summer.

Perfect property and location for a getaway weekend with my daughters! Property was very nicely decorated with super comfy beds and furniture. Host did a great job communicating with me during the process and provided all details timely. Fantastic location to Main Street with plenty of shopping, restaurants, coffee shops and breweries.
