great location. on a quiet street but close to the action. Mike speaks English well and was very helpful.
The facilities were pretty basic. Breakfast was not great and was the same every day. I think for 400 RMB per night you could do better.

It has been lovely staying here and I would definitely recommend this hotel to everybody who wants to visit Dali. The manager of the hotel speaks very good English and really took great care of us, helping with every whish or question we had. He recommended good restaurants, organized a scooter for us, sent us a descriptions where to go with it, where to stop and what to see, recommended places to visit during our stay and also helped with practical little issues. It was a really nice experience. We changed our hotel room to the upper level after arrival for a little bit extra, which was a good choise as there is a little balcony from from where you can get some nice glimpses of the surroundings. The hotel is located very central, but in a small street so that you are not in the middle of Dali's crazy tourist madness. If you find the right direction to walk, you even get to parts of the town with a very local atmosphere. Oh... and before I forget: breakfast is delicious!

We enjoyed staying in Cabin 7 Inn. The rooms are situated around a scenic courtyard. The hotel is in the center of Dali old town, close to the main sights & shops. The staff, including the owner, was very friendly and helpful.
Although it was mentioned in the hotel description (and we actually paid for it), there was no breakfast available.
It was inconvenient that guests were obliged to use house slippers, but also obliged to take them off in certain parts of the accommodation to walk barefoot.
