Nice place as a base to explore St. Tropez & surroundings

Well located small hotel, nice room with AC and good breakfast and car parking included (though tight). We could walk to the center and also took the boat to St. Tropez in the evening.

The bathroom was a bit small & tight and without French language skills maybe a bit tough, but worked for us!

Superb

The breakfast included different breads, yogurt, dessert, fried eggs, coffee. It was served in the courtyard which was really comfortable and relax. The room is not big but include everything needed, shower room was also big enough. All the decorations in the hotel was quite nostalgic and towers for taking out to beach was also prepared. Staff was all kind.

The breakfast and overall service from the host was amazing! Nothing flashy but very good value for money.

The bathroom is a bit small but it is what you pay for. And wish we had more space to hang wet clothes

desapointing not as advertised

being close to the center

it is a bed and breakfast concept. the breakfast you pay it on the top of the room price. 10 euros for breakfast is a rip off : you have a mini croissant a mini pain au chocolat 1 egg scrambled and not 1 omelette as advertised. 2 slice of bread a bit of jam and butter a hot drink and a jus . the parking is very small just big for 4 medium sized cars. the bathroom is very small you shouldn’t be fat. a lot of mosquitoes everywhere

Great little hotel

Very cute little hotel. Nice landlord. The breakfast in the little garden was very good. The rooms were small, but had everything you needed, i.e. a refrigerator and an AC. You could park your car free of charge.

The walls were a little thin, so you could easily hear your neighbors speak.

Cleaning Fresh air Beach towels

Really small and narrow parking Our room faced another parking and people could see us with open windows Welcoming gesture of the owner, he hit the table with a hand as we could not understand each other (my surname!) Once I asked for the breakfast and it was poor, not as described (one croissant, two slices of bread, butter, some jam, yogurt and artificial panna cotta, no eggs, neither cheese, ham). Not comfortable rooms. It was hard to regulate hot/ cold water, shower equipment require renovation

Walking distance to Saint Máxime

Bathroom door “does not close” the bathroom So it’s noisy and smelly. Shower is small for tall people like me. Pictures advertisement at least don’t match room #3. Hotel breakfast could be considered “cheap” but what you get is below French expectations. You listen everybody’s movements and voices. Front desk is closed after breakfast so you are on your own.

The perfect get-away

The terrace and lobby are charming, playful and a bit quirky ...just like we like it. The room and bath super. The owner was fantastic and made an extra effort for my birthday. The breakfast was the best we ever had in a hotel! '

Superb hotel with style and charm

It was exactly our hotel😊. From the first moment we realized that this hotel is just perfect. Stylish with french details and warm. Great hospitality and super atmosphere. We only regret that we didn’t have time for longer stay. Absolute recommend😊

Charming little hotel with great facilities and excellent breakfast

The host couldn’t do enough to help and the breakfast was very generous. Free parking just outside. Very central but feels secluded, with a leafy terrace and lovely breakfast room.

Amazing setting for our French vacation!

Great location and hotel. Our host was available and was so hospitable the whole time. We highly recommend this place.

We didn't realize the breakfast option was an additional expense, so we were a little surprised at the end of the week. We should have asked, but there was a language barrier, as our host didn't speak English. We still would have stayed there though!

A hidden gem

This truly felt like a hidden gem. After looking for a hot for a while we found Le Castellemar in booking with a very nice score of 8,8 and they truly deserve it. We were welcomed by the owner, a true gentleman. Very polite, funny and ready to help with your luggage. Our room was not the biggest, but it had all the necessities and was very clean! It is located between other buildings which makes it a secluded location. After driving onto the private road you’ll arrive at the parking (Which isn’t too big, keep that in mind if you have a really big car!). And here you arrive at this romantic jardin, where you can have such a nice breakfast, served by the owner himself. The hotel is located approximately 5-10 mins walking from the beach and 10-15mins walking from the old center of sainte Maxime. I truly recommend this accommodation!

Relaxed chilled quirky

Very relaxed, felt like I was at home. Able to take food up to the room with no hassles, whether from the hotel or outside. Staff helpful with advice and recommendations. Free parking and close to everything with a SPAR two minutes away for late night treat.

All good nothing to say here. Only a couple of minor things the wifi was a little weak and there were no English channels.

Hidden gem, would definitely go back!

The hotel was better than we expected. The atmosphere was amazing, the staff was so friendly and helpful and the garden was very relaxing. Breakfast was very good. Staff paid attention to all the small details: e.g. when we ordered a coffee during the day, we got a nice pastry with it. Also, the room was very clean and got cleaned every day (including nice fresh towels). Would definitely recommend this place!

The shower was a bit small, but it didn’t bother us.

All of the above. Plus it was nice to have a garden with seating areas

A little oasis. Very clean and comfortable. Near all the amenities. Phillip was marvellous. So helpful and produced a super breakfast. We would recommend a stay here. But want to keep this place a secret.
