Located in Blue Ridge Mountain paradise of RUMBLING BALD RESORT, you are just minutes from the waters of LAKE LURE. You can sneak in a little school or work on vacation because the INTERNET IS AMAZING! The location is ideal, at the end of a quiet paved cul-de-sac with mature trees and lush landscape. As soon as you arrive, you'll know you made the right decision. There is a street level entry ramp with a very gentle slope, which makes unloading groceries and luggage easy. While technically not handicap accessible, it is much easier for people who can't do stairs. As you cross the ramp, look to your right and you'll see the OUTDOOR FIRE PIT and chairs. Once unloaded, you can park in the private paved driveway, or even in the one car GARAGE. One of your favorite features will be the open inviting floor plan. The Living Room has plenty of seating with three comfortable sofas (one of them is a sleeper sofa). Gather around and enjoy the WOOD BURNING FIREPLACE while watching your favorite movies on the large flat screen wall mounted SMART TV. WIRELESS and INTERNET ARE EXCELLENT, which is rare for Lake Lure. Steps away is a full-size dining room table with seating for six, ideal for eating, playing games, or planning the next days activities. TRASH DISPOSAL: All household waste & trash must be placed in receptacles considered to be animal proof (e.g., durable with secured lids) when available unless advised otherwise due to increased bear activity. MINIMUM AGE: You must be at least 25 years of age to reserve a rental property and sign this lease and must also be a guest at the property during the entire term of the stay. You must present a valid government ID at time of check in. If you are not 25, you will NOT be allowed to check in and no refund will be provided. FISHING: A North Carolina fishing license is required, and all state fishing regulations apply. BOATING: If a boat is provided with this rental home, please ask for and review the pamphlet entitled “Lake Regulations & Map”. If you wish to utilize your own boat on the lake, a permit is required and can be obtained at Town Hall or at the town marina. PERSONAL CONDUCT: Trespassing - Venturing onto a neighboring dock or pier, boat house or property without the owner's permission is prohibited. NO SMOKING: Smoking, Vaping and Electronic cigarettes are prohibited in all our vacation rental homes. You will be assessed an additional cleaning fee if it is discovered you have been smoking and/or vaping in the home of $500. We ask that all smokers stay a minimum of 10 ft from any open window or door, do not stand near open doors or windows allowing smoke to enter the home while smoking on property. Please make sure butts and ashes are not left behind. Discard the butts and ashes in the outside garbage. Do not throw butts on the ground (including the fire pit) or bring them into the home. If there is any tobacco smell in the home after your departure, there will be a minimum $500 charge. Oil lamps and incense are not permitted due to the long-lasting odor. If these policies are violated, there will be a charge for excessive cleaning. NOISE: Unreasonably loud noise is prohibited throughout the Town. Please observe quiet hours after 10 p.m. and be aware that sound carries very far over a still lake. UNRULY BEHAVIOR: Behavior deemed disorderly and causing a disturbance to the public is prohibited. These regulations will be strictly enforced. SECURITY CAMERA LOCATIONS: Please be advised our homes have forward facing entry area security cameras. We monitor for non-reported pets, over occupancy and number of vehicles. PETS/ANIMALS: PETS/ANIMALS are NOT ALLOWED in this home. If you are found to be in violation of this rule you will be required to vacate the property and forfeit the remainder of your stay. You will also be assessed a fine of $500 for the violation. No refunds will be given! Service animals must be registered with the office prior to arrival. RENTAL AGREEMENT AND TOTAL BALANCE: You will be required to sign a vacation rental agreement before your reservation is secured. Failure to sign rental agreement with-in 72 hours of booking, will result in cancellation of reservation and forfeiture of deposit. Any monies received by Mr Lake Lure Vacation Rentals for occupancy of vacation property indicated the acceptance of the terms of our vacation rental agreement in full. Your total amount listed on the Mr Lake Lure® Vacation Rental Agreement may be different than the amount paid to the 3rd party site you book through. All third-party sites charge differing amounts as service fees to guests for using their services. We have no control over those fees and do not collect them. Please read your vacation rental agreement carefully before you begin your vacation. All policies are strictly enforced. It is the responsibility of all guests and members of their party to be familiar with all policies pertaining to rental. Late check-outs will be charged the applicable daily rate or $50 per hour, whichever is greater to the credit card on file if the home has not been vacated by 1:00 pm *** Lake Lure will be undergoing a drawdown starting January 1st, through the first quarter (March 31st). The lake will begin to be lowered by approximately 1 foot per day until 12 feet has been reached. Infrastructure maintenance, dredging, and dam projects will be expedited during this time frame. These efforts by the Town of Lake Lure may affect access to the lake and restrict any lake usage. The lake will likely be back up to normal levels by mid to late April. No personal watercraft will be allowed on the lake during this time. While we understand this is an inconvenience, this does allow you to enjoy the full beauty of Lake Lure in the fall and holiday season. Property was lovely and just as described. Our two small families loved the privacy of the location while still being so close to a hiking trail, resort amenities, and not far from Chimney Rock. We’d love to stay here again!

We enjoyed it for 4 adults and a dog. Loading and unloading is easy due to the deck bridge ramp. The overall space is good with large kitchen and master bedroom/bath. There is a second bath with the middle bedroom. But there is no common bathroom upstairs or downstairs. This may be inconvenient for some if planning to sleep the max of 12 persons; but not for us. The full-size downstairs with pool table and pac-man gaming machine is nice. Streaming TV service up and down is very good. Mr. Lake Lure office is very pleasant and quick to help. We saw that the grounds nearest the structure required weed eating and Mr. Lake Lure sent out grounds keepers within 2 hours of our arrival. Rumbling Bald access is a nice bonus and the reason we chose this vrbo location.

This house had more than enough room and activities to keep a family of 8 happy for a week long stay. Whether it was billiards, a fire pit, a Pac-Man machine, or good internet. This house was clean and well suited for a stay.

The house was very nice. The only thing I did not like that I did not realize (probably my own mistake) is that there is not an accessible bathroom in the house that is outside of the rooms. Both bathrooms are in suite which made it hard for others not sleeping in that room to use. Also we lost power for an entire day and it was hard to get in contact with someone. My husband thinks their may have been a generator but no one told us. Other than that our stay was great.
