Escape to La Péninsule, a singular 5-bedroom lake house on a private peninsula on Lake Hickory. Enjoy breathtaking 270-degree water views from this peaceful retreat. Perfect for families and groups, this home features a private dock, kayaks, a fire pit, and a large covered porch. Experience the perfect blend of serene seclusion and convenient access to local attractions. Comfortably sleeps your entire group.
We believe in giving our guests complete privacy to enjoy their vacation. While we won't be present at the property, we are always available and happy to assist with any questions or needs via the app or by phone. Your comfort is our priority.
Our home is situated at the end of a quiet neighborhood. Neighbors are all established and respectful.
Minutes from a boat rental company that can cater all sizes of marine craft. A couple of kayaks will be provided for daytime adventure, the coves have calm waters for beginner adventurists. Swimming right off the dock is always an option as well.
Paddleboard sessions are available as well.
Riverbend Park is within a 15 minute commute with beautiful walking trails that wind in and out of the trees through open fields and next to Lake Hickory. Within a 30 minute drive we have Rocky Face Park which has 6 miles of moderate to strenuous trails.
Winery's, Breweries, and Distilleries are popular attractions within a short distance.
Lake Hickory while picking up in popularity is still mostly natural landscape with beautiful views.
Guests will have private and exclusive access to the entire home, private dock, and surrounding grounds.

I can't say enough about this house and property.
Only 20 minutes from downtown Hickory it truly felt like we were "out of town".....our Charleston friends loved it! So much so, that one said they would love to live there (as a Hickory resident, me too!!)
Just around the corner is the sandbar marina where you can gas up your lake vessels, grab food, drinks and if wine is your thing, a pretty good selection for sale there. You could also drop anchor in the sandbar cove to float, be we actually enjoyed floating off our dock at the house better!
This house had a docking port for our 2 sea doos and we also parked our boat there as well. So if you're traveling with lake vessels, this is the house for you! There are several put ins very close.
The grounds outside are unbelievable! Plenty of yard to run and play games if you bring kids. We loved sitting on the point in the evenings watching all the boats go by, as they created wake, and the waves would crash up on the rocks! We love the pizza oven outside (tools included) along with the fire pit for s'mores!
The house on the inside has lots of beds to accommodate all kinds of family/friend trips. With a water view out of almost every single window!! Kitchen was well stocked with everything you need, with a small shopping center within a 8min drive!
After our checkout, I realized I left a few favorite things and the host (Kip/Cam) was very accommodating for letting us come back hours later to retrieve them.

This gorgeous property made our nearby family wedding trip even better! Making memories -from the fire pit to the kayaks to our little boys playing in the water. The many windows and porch spaces provide stunning views of the lake.
Property management responded quickly with any questions.
I highly recommend this property. Being on a peninsula is magical, so private and inviting.

This property was a nice house. It was good for a lot of guests, however it's not completely private since some bedrooms are only accessible by going through other bedrooms. The kayaks were a huge selling point for this house being on the water and unfortunately we could not get the lock to open. It should also be known that the refrigerator and freezer were pretty full, so make sure you have your own coolers if you plan on bringing food and drinks. Overall, the house was nice and check-in process was easy.
