Clean & nicely updated cabin in a peaceful & quiet neighborhood of other rentals. Laughed hysterically at the claim that this cabin does not require 4x4 to get to…roads to the neighborhood are nicely paved (but very narrow) switchback, mtn. roads so take it slow at night. When you arrive at the shared gravel drive, the house number signs aren’t in numerical order so look for this one somewhere in the middle of the numbers even though it’s the lowest house # & the 1st house on the left. Then prepare for a 90 degree climb up the paved parking pad…doable w/o 4x4 I’d imagine but still a challenge off the heavily wooded & narrow gravel path & impossible to see the retaining wall & house corners going straight up especially until the motion light turns on. We recommend backing in b/c backing out adds a challenge due to the angle of the gravel drive. It snowed the AM after we arrived, thankfully not heavy (I didn’t see a snow shovel anywhere to use) and no freezing rain, as was predicted, or we likely wouldn’t have been able to get safely out of the steep driveway. Outside of winter, this property is mostly dreamy; plenty to do inside & plenty of space, nice covered hot tub with most jets working, a nice washer/dryer set & working gas fireplace. Only complaint was a window that wouldn’t lock, making me sleep light & leery of leaving many items when we left for the day. We’ll likely return due to the convenience, lovely location & overall value.

Very clean loved the cabin

We were traveling with our adult children (all in their 20s) it is a great cabin, they loved the loft and pool table area and we enjoyed the back porch for relaxing. Great location for getting into town and area attractions.
I would note the driveway is steep right whwre you pull in and our minivan would scrape pulling in and out unless we managed the exact right angle so lower vehicles be aware and go slow!

The cabin was perfect, and just as expected.
We enjoyed the hot tub every evening of our stay.
The board games and pool table were perfect to keep us entertained during our downtime each night of our trip.
Would definitely recommend and will stay again.

Between an easy drive to the Gatlinburg strip and the relaxing feeling of the house, I couldn’t have chosen a better place and company to stay with. I would highly recommend staying here. It has everything you need for your stay. 10/10 thank you for providing such a nice place to stay.

The kids loved the pool table to play on. I would suggest a little extra basic maintenance as we literally had a drawer fall out on us as soon as we touched it, pots and pans just very loose, and the latch to lock the window was broken on at least one bedroom. Could also use some instructions on how to connect the tv to the internet in the pool table room as we never were able to figure it out. Never tried any of the others. Was def. Worth the stay however, and would love to come back again!

Our family recently stayed here for a week while visiting the Gatlinburg and surrounding area. This rental was so relaxing and perfectly located for where we wanted to go. Would definitely seek out one of the rentals from Summit Cabin again.

Cabin was very nice and clean! Only thing that might want to be addressed is the upstairs shower does not drain very well. But other than that this place is was awesome to stay in!

Cabin was clean and looked just like advertised. Didn’t realize we’d have to supply our own hand soap and toilet paper?!? The master jacuzzi tub would only fill half way with hot water and the master shower drained really slow so you end up standing in water while trying to take a shower. Other than those things, everything else was great. Loved the hot tub!

Great cabin. It was cozy and not very high up the mountain, so we were about to enjoy staying out past 5:00 pm and then enjoying the cabin after dark.

We enjoyed the property very much. It was very homey and comfortable. There was plenty of room. Locating the property was a bit of a challenge as it is deep in the hills. The driveway was tight and a little difficult to navigate.

The cabin was very nice, cozy and decorated very warm.. it had all the utensils needed for cooking and plenty of towels and was cloths… only thing it could use is another love seat or chair in the living room for more seating.. Also the lack of a grill or fire pit was disappointing.. last thing you need to be more specific on the Dollywood tickets.. it was misleading as we were expecting a ticket for each guest.. Over all it was a great stay and will be booking again in the future!!!

Perfect family cabin
Our stay at the cabin was great with room to spread out to relax and everything we needed to have a great week! The location was right in the center of everywhere we traveled to. It was clean and well equipped to make it an easy stay. We would definitely stay again!

Less than satisfied
Well honestly it wasn’t the best experience! We washed some laundry and it ruined an entire load of laundry, it all turned brown and stained as of it is rusted! The TVs are awful and only worked 1/4 of the time, the TV in the play room with the pool table did not work at all. We had several children and a baby and our experience was more stressful than anything! We stayed there for a week break on our way to Miami and now we have to buy several new clothing items due to them being ruined at your cabin! I have several photos showing them in great condition (some brand new of my 3 month old daughter) and then after we washed them they were ruined! I am sorry that we would not recommend staying here as we feel very defeated by the stay as we came out behind instead of ahead

Peaceful Getaway
This cabin is exactly as the photos, in a peaceful part of Gatlinburg. The hosts have everything you need to have a lovely getaway from the hustle and bustle of life. We had coffee on the patio every morning listening to the sounds of the forest. We slept so well and simply enjoyed ourselves! Highly recommend!
