We live on a private lane on a private lake in Ontario, 45 minutes from Toronto. Our Tiny Home sits 15 steps from the lake. Before you get to the water, you find a stone terrace tucked away down from the lane. There you can enjoy your morning coffee looking out on the water, or have an afternoon of sunbathing. For fun, climb in the paddle boat and cruise the shoreline. Forest bathing, mini-golf, golf, two wineries, zip-lining, and horse riding are all within 15 minutes. Up the road, a park leads onto 133 acres of prime Ontario land: make the hike past old-growth forest and lush fields. A quiet retreat to reflect? A place to deepen your meditation?A remote work spot? A place to launch yourself into city adventure? Time to write/read? Take your pick and come enjoy. For lunch or dinner consider lakeside dining a 15-minute walk to Fishbone By the Lake. Or choose among the many fine restaurants in Stouffville. Delivery is also an option. Or stay to bbq, use the toaster oven, or simply heat up the hot plate for a quick meal. The views from the windows in the Tiny Home refresh your eyes, mind, and heart. In the evening rest by the water, sit on the dock or the terrace and wait for nature's ever-changing art palette to delight your eyes. Wait for the otters, great blue heron, osprey, ducks and geese to come by. When you are tired, pull the blackout blinds down, lie on your new mattress and enjoy the breeze from the back hill. Very nice and helpful host. Quickly handled any problems we had. A very good time. Loved the forests for hiking and found some good little local restaurants. The Tiny House was just perfect for us.

My wife and I were looking for a weekend away, without the kids, so we could relax, unplug and unwind. I am happy to say that we accomplished all that and more, such as 2 long paddle boat rides out on the lake. The Tiny Home is so cute and quaint and has everything you need. The patio area by the water is amazing, the dock is huge and it is solid so it works great as a big dance floor. We hope to return again!

We really enjoyed our time at the Tiny House! It’s a wonderful location with a great sunset view and lots of fun places nearby to explore. We enjoyed great restaurants and shopping as well as hanging out dockside with a book! And Charlene and her partner are so wonderful! Very attentive and generous without hovering. Thank you so much!

Was very clean and charming. Host was amazing. Very kind and available. They had a nice surprise when we got there. Only thing negative I have to say is pictures made it look like the back yard was right on the water but there’s a private road you have to cross. Saying that it was still very tranquil and peaceful so it was still great. Thank you.

We arrived to an amazingly set up "tiny" house and Charlene was a wonderful host. This little gem of a spot was welcoming, very comfortable and just what we needed to relax and unwind. Just 20 minutes from Aurora too! We were welcomed with delicious treats and Charlene's warmth in her time with us around was one of my favourite parts of our getaway. Thank you to Charlene and her partner for making the weekend special for us!

Staying here was so much fun. The area was beautiful, spending morning and evening down by the lake, and the tiny house was just perfect for what I needed! Communication with Charlene was easy and accommodating. Absolutely recommend to anyone passing through the area.

We loved our stay. Charlene and Harry went the extra mile to make our stay comfy . You’re steps away from the water, 10 minute drive to lovely hiking trails , and about 10 minute drive into town with great coffee, baked goods and restaurants. This place would also ideal for someone looking for a individual retreat space .

Amazing stay!

Amazing stay!

Had a wonderful stay. Loved the area, loved how close the lake was and how the paddleboat was ours to use, and loved the personal touches to the property like the free books, and the sweet treats in the fridge. The area was peacful and the lake was picturesque. The place was cosy and had everything we needed. The host was accommodating, attentive, and very friendly. Would highly recommend it!
