Located in Surfside Beach, this attractive house for $525 per night is a great option for your next break. "La Casa Morada" (translation) THE PURPLE HOUSE! La Casa Morada is a VERY unique property! It is literally 2 houses in 1! This property used to be a duplex and now it's one huge house! So you have 2 full kitchens, 2 dining areas, 1 large living room downstairs and 1 small sitting area upstairs. Absolutely GORGEOUS UNOBSTRUCTED BEACH FRONT VIEW! Extremely quiet little street in a great part of the Village of Surfside Beach! EASY BEACH ACCESS! Plenty of spaces to gather, play games/cards, reminisce with family and friend, listen to great music, cook and ENJOY time together AND yet still have enough space to spread out and relax with little private spaces all over the house! Pet Policy: If you love dogs like us, you are more than welcome to bring up to 2 with a non-refundable pet fee. We ask that pets stay off all furniture, are cleaned up after in the yard, and aren't left alone inside the home unless in a crate or kennel. Please message us if planning on bringing your furry friend to Surfside! Pets are welcome at this home. 2 pets max. w/ a non-refundable pet fee. (ask if additional pets are allowed). Downstairs you will find 3 bedrooms & 2 baths with a full kitchen, living room & dining room. We struggled with a lot during this stay. The kitchen was filled with ants and we had pest control come out twice. Roaches were prevalent and there was inadequate cleaning, with roach parts under beds and tables. The kitchen was VERY small…only fits one person in it. We had to wash every dish and glass when we arrived. They were dirty with food and fingerprint smears on glasses. One of the showers had the water turned off, took five days to fix. Booking for twenty is not recommended. Too small Bedrooms are crowded with beds. The dining table seats only 6. The grill was filthy…took my husband and hour to clean despite web site threats that security deposits would be kept if dirty. The railing on the deck is very loose, making it a definite security hazard. The washer/dryer stopped working the day we were to arrive, causing us to wash by hand most of our stay. The management company finally agreed, after two days waiting around house for washer delivery, to wash our clothes, towels and sheets on day 7 of our stay. ( on day 5 we got one load of laundry washed.). Living room seats only 5 (web site picture has three couches, there is one couch/and one loveseat.). The patio chairs do not have cushions, and since they do not have webbing, very uncomfortable. What we did not know is that Surfside allows cars to drive on the beach. Early in morning, trucks drive up and set up major parties right in front of properties. The first Saturday we were there there was public drunkenness and police sirens until after midnight. The second Saturday we were able to get together with neighbors and set up a “kid friendly” area to keep out the wild parties. The management company “gave us” a late checkout for our trouble in the week and did not charge us for our two dogs. However, on day 6 after check out, our cleaning deposit still not returned..despite leaving the place very clean. Management company not highly communicative. Best response was for the ants. They did wash and deliver our clothes in day 7. Location was good. We were steps from the sand. The water there has a sandbar, so was shallow for the kids. Two good restaurants were nearby. Lake Jackson has great grocery and shopping options. Captain Mark seafood market had amazing fresh fish. Only 20 minutes from house. This was an overall disappointment. I write this so others can be aware that the place needs a lot of work and beach is very crowded on weekend. During week was quiet.

My family comes to Surfside every year and this is the first year I have been somewhat disappointed. The bedding was dirty, the house was smaller than expected and the AC units leaked water the entire time in two bedrooms.

This is a fantastic location to the beach. You just have a quick walk on the boardwalk to the beach and you have a great view of the beach from the house. It was easy to go back and forth to the house to get anything you missed or if you wanted to cool down for a bit. The people renting their place were very accommodating when making changes prior to our arrival. The air conditioning worked great during the Texas summer. The house had a lot of beds which worked well. One of the bedrooms downstairs doesn’t have a lot of space for luggage. The checkout procedures were very particular down to a count of how many of each linen was provided to you.

This house is right on the beach (gulf side), with great views from the living and dining rooms, and a couple of the bedrooms. The house was plenty big for our family of 6.

First time staying in Surfside Beach and the purple house was perfect for our family get together. Fantastic and unobstructed views from two large decks or sitting inside thru a wall of floor to ceiling windows. Did not disappoint for our family gathering.

Our large family thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this property. The house house was very clean and comfortable with plenty of room for our large group. Kitchen was stocked with everything we needed for preparing meals. The pictures don’t do the ocean view justice it is so close to the beach!! We would definitely stay here again!
