We recently rented Taking Flight as a location to house our family during my mom‘s 80th birthday celebration. In total, there were eight of us, including an infant. The location was perfectly situated near St. George, had a venue for my mom‘s party, and was ideal for entertaining afterwards. The layout was perfect for young and old alike, with single level bedrooms, and a lower level for the kids. The morning and evening views were spectacular with the sunrise and sunset. Communication with owners was easy. Kitchen was perfectly appointed and large enough to prepare large meals. Loved the decor and the exceptionally clean hot tub. Our granddaughter loved playing the piano.

For as many people as this house will accommodate and the time period we stayed, I would offer a larger bottle of dish soap and a second refrigerator might have been nice. I never found the ironing board. Everything else was above and beyond.

Taking Flight was the perfect home to celebrate my mother's 80th birthday. There were 14 of us including 4 teenagers. The house was large enough for everyone to have their own space and had a big enough kitchen and patio for us all to eat together. The home is modern, beautiful and stocked with anything and everything we could have possibly needed. The location is excellent, close to hiking, shopping and only 2 hours from Bryce Canyon. We loved our stay!

We reserved Taking Flight for a family reunion for our kids and grandkids. It was perfect for our needs - plenty of gathering spaces and room to spread out. Everything was provided for a comfortable stay. Enjoyed watching the golfers from the deck, but beware of errant golf balls! Several landed in the back yard while we were there. Well-stocked kitchen and bathrooms. Very nicely decorated and appointed. We enjoyed the swim spa and firepit. We spent a lot of time in Snow Canyon, and this was a perfect location to access the canyon from. Highly recommend and would definitely stay here again.

This was the most beautiful rental home! It had everything! Fully equipped kitchen, beautiful windows with sunny views, even the decor is a treat! It was a wonderful place to relax after hiking and biking, we rode our bikes into Snow Canyon right from the house. We loved the hot tub and the pickle ball courts. We will definitely be back for another stay.

We had an early Christmas celebration for 11 family members. Home is very pretty and nicely appointed; but there were a few concerns: 1. There are 6 bedrooms supposedly for 16 people however you don’t tell the customer that it’s really 6 bedrooms; 5 couples and one family retreat.We had several single people; asking 2 grown men to share a bed didn’t work well!2. The notes on the house says there is a DVD; not true.3. There were several things that were broken! The globe for a light in the kitchen, a window in the kitchen had a huge crack in it from what appeared to be a golfball, and a window in the foyer is also cracked. A lamp in the family retreat was broken.4. The house needs a deep clean. Dust (thick) on surfaces in the bedrooms and the floors! Walk around the house barefoot and then look at your feet! The floors need to be wet-moped!5. For $1,000 a night it seemed cheap to limit paper towels and garbage bags (you provided 3 bags),

We had a wonderful vacation at the Taking Flight home in Ledges. Some of our favorite things about the home were the on-site spa pool and fire pit, the proximity to the new park, and easy access to the community pool, Pickleball, and workout center. The home was decorated with exceptional taste and had everything a renter would need, plus more...including a grand piano! We loved watching the golfers throughout the day from our back deck.

Beautiful home!
This home was wonderful! My family and I really enjoyed our stay. I would highly recommend the area and this property. For those planning to visit, below is a list of the pros and cons to consider:
PROS
- Everything was exceptionally clean inside and out.
- Gorgeous entryway, furnishings, rooms, and kitchen area.
- Nice views from the backyard and within the neighborhood.
- Close to the highway, shopping, gym, and scenic bike trail.
- Hot tub was functioning and huge!!
- Outdoor fire pit and seating was comfortable and nice. Smores sticks were provided!
- The home smelled clean and brand new
- Notes around the house were helpful and welcoming
- Owners provided everything you thought you would need and then some (spices, ziplock bags, chip clips, cleaning supplies, etc.)
- High quality appliances
- Landscaping outside was well maintained and beautiful
- Provided board games for the family! Loved that!
- Grand piano was a nice touch. Loved having music in the home.
- So many dishes and towels!!!
- 6th room was separate from the rest of the home, which is perfect for someone wanting their own space. Included a fridge, microwave, and full bath.
- Large walk-in showers with hot water!
- Fans in all the rooms.
- Home was decorated with beautiful antiques. (Might not be suitable for families with active little ones).
CONS
- Light comes through thin window shades in all the bedrooms. Great if you like waking up with the sun - not so great for sleeping in. ;)
- New construction next door, but the sound was minimal since the work was being done inside the property.
