The hotel is very nice. We loved the whole vibe. The patio area with the huge ~150 year old Banyon tree. Is beautiful and relaxing. Beach view awesome and the beach is clean and very accessible and active.
Proximity to shops and restaurants made it an easy walkable stay. No car necessary. We used Uber and booked tours.
Only negative was how small our room was! We did have a direct view of the ocean but the bathroom and room were unusually small for the price

Beds were comfortable, staff kind and helpful. We stayed for 2 weeks, 3 ladies. Only three drawers for clothing and very small counter in bathroom.

Moana Surfrider will officially now be the only hotel I stay when I visit Waikiki. The staff, hotel, room, gym, proximity to food and everything in between, was perfect. The person who checked us in, Yumi, was warm and welcoming and help us to upgrade our room to a beautiful ocean view. Thank you again for a wonderful stay! We are definitely returning costumers.
