The bathroom had no hand soup and the drawer would not close all the way. The fridge was leaking after notifying the front desk I was informed that maintenance would be going to the room to fix it. When I came back to the room after dinner the fridge was still leaking. The couch in the room also had stains on it. Despite these issues with the room it was convenient to be right next to the shopping center.

I would not book in the KONA TOWER in the future. It is very spartan, had to ask for towels, pillows and blanket. The worst part is that the room overlooked a high rise parking lot with a street below. Very noisy with vehicle traffic especially what I think were refuse trucks during the very early hours backing up with the backup warning sounds and what sounded like dumpsters being handled. Not one or 2 but several over a long time. Good night sleep in a clean room is the most precious of my hotel needs. This failed in the good night sleep need.

We stayed in the Kona tower which is very old. The room was tight but the let down was the view of Macy’s parking lot. Comfty bed, had to request extra pillows. Shower of bath so not good for our parents. Close to shopping mall and rooftop restaurant best steak and be ever had. Oh and the breakky was good. Chia puddings the best. Beautiful pool but you aren’t allowed to take food or drinks out there which was a shame

We paid for an occean view room but view was maimly high rise buildings apart from that was ok ...ubers cheap and plentiful and as i said you can walk into the shopping centre

The staff was very friendly. The valet team was so quick. Tim was the most friendly man. The buffet was delicious witt great options. Our room was clean and comfortable. I stay here 3 times a year. I wouldn't go anywherw else.

Love the new modern hotel. For the value it was an excellent deal, the people are so friendly! My go to for Oahu because it is walking distance to SHOPPING!!!

Great experience, friendly staff and transportation is convenient. My only complaint is that the maintenance crew didn't come to our room as often. So for 3 days straight we had to use the same towels, and even though we hanged dry them, they would still be wet. Which is why I gave a 4 star instead of 5

The mattress needs to be replaced the room temp would not regulate the bed linens were thin. The room was very small and cramped

Plenty of room for my husband and me. There was even a pullout little sofa bed. I requested extra pillows and they were brought up within 15 minutes…I was so impressed. Love that they have a coffee maker, microwave and refrigerator! We bought easy things to make breakfast and start the day right.

It was fantastic! The only thing I wish was a little different is the pool steps. It's very hard to climb those steps when soaking wet. I wish there were steps slowly leading into the pool and not all ladders. Are housekeeper for the week was phenomenal. We really enjoyed our balcony views! Can't wait to come back.

Good price/ reasonable location/ the park and marina and beach are not as near as hoped

It is really convenient location, close to shopping areas and local beaches!

We didn’t spend much time in the hotel. We really just slept there since we had so much planned. Room was a little on the small side but it worked for us two. Everything was fine until our 2nd night when we got back to our room on the 7th floor and we found a huge cockroach in our bathroom. I know it’s an island and it’s expected because of the humidity but being from a desert landlocked state it was a shock. We immediately called the front desk and had to be transferred at least 3 times until we could get help. They sent someone up to our room, he came and killed the cockroach and then just left. Afterwards we called front desk again and requested a different room for the rest of our stay and they were able to accommodate us and move us to the 9th floor and we didn’t have any more experiences with cockroaches (thankfully). Other than the cockroach it was a decent hotel for what we had planned. I got really bad blisters from walking and we wanted to go to the pool since I couldn’t really walk on the sand without discomfort so we wanted to go to the pool. We expected the pool to be open later but they were only open til 7pm and when we asked someone at the front desk they had kind of an attitude but overall the stay was pretty good. They had a Starbucks in the lobby and that was nice.

One block from beach and food optimist hotel and aground the hotel were great. I highly recommend eating at DaDa next to the pool - best omelets!

The rooms were VERY small. I was expecting two queen beds but I got a room with 1 large bed and the room just seemed very small.

Convenient to ride the BUS. Easy go shopping, beach pool.

Everything was above or as we expected it would be. Staff was nice and helpful, hotel was kept clean throughout our stay. Ubers and Lyfts drove up to the front for easy pick-ups. The beach is a little to far for my liking. But over all great experience.

I loved the convenience of the location. Next to Ala Moana shopping mall with lots of choices for food and restaurants. It's close to Walmart, Don Quijote, Eggs & things & other local restaurants that I go to. Don't expect too much from this average hotel! Ala Moana is clean, affordable, and safe.

The handicap parking was right next to the elevators which was very nice but you need a few more.

We had a one bedroom suite on the 9th floor with mountain view. The view was great the room was quiet. The pull out couch was kind of hard but the floor plan worked for us. Good location.

Everything about the property was very nice and convenient. Being in the heart of the city, I expected sirens and traffic noise during waking hours. I did not feel safe walking beyond the main roads.

Housekeeping always leave a note ,if I have my “no disturbing sign” if I need clean to clean my room, called them, it was nice.

I always have a great experience at this hotel. Fast and friendly staff, and great location. Love that you can walk to Ala Moana Shopping Center. Thank you.

I stay there at 3207and It was clean and not enough clean bathroom and living room and their shelf above the pitching side was dirt and they never vacuum on the floors. The owner should get better clean enough and make sure looks good .

Very convenient location, we walked everywhere.Beach, shopping and restaurants. Amazing views from our window. Would definitely stay here again next time.

Take Note: This hotel has 2 towers: the newer Waikiki Tower and the Kona Tower, so the reviews will differ greatly. This review is for the "Kona Tower - City View" room costing us a total of $281.95 for one night. To put it bluntly, we give this room a thumbs down. It did not have a city view -- looking at a wall, parking lot, and the 2 buildings surrounding it does not constitute a "view." When I contacted the front desk upon reaching the room, I was told this was the "standard Expedia room" and that nothing better was available without additional cost. The room itself was incredibly basic, plus it had stains on the ceiling over the bed, only one set of pillows and one washcloth, the sliding door and lanai glass were terribly dirty, the toilet had hair all over it and liquid on the seat (I had to clean it, and dark dirt came off the lid), and no ice machine in the tower (had to go to Waikiki tower)! The walls were pretty thin and we could hear our neighbors ... having a good time. The good things? Check in was fast with nice people, the bed was pretty comfortable, and the location was next to the Ala Moana Center and a (long) walking distance to the Blaisdell arena.
