Semi basement, there is order, nearby room very noisy after midnight, smell of smoking in hallway. Breakfast is bad.

The only problem i had with the stay was the condition of the sofa bed. It was so poor my grand had a terrible back ache after sleeping on it.

I have stayed here before. Excellent rooms, has everything we need, very reasonable, immaculate, polite professional staff. I will continue to use this as my home away from home when I visit Indianapolis.

Staff was very accommodating and able to offer a room upgrade since it was available that night. Very convenient to get to and from and in a safe neighborhood.

The room was very spacious, nicely updated and very comfortable. I don’t know why I haven’t been staying at the Residence Inn all these years. We enjoyed the breakfast, it was pleasant.

Nice location. Breakfast buffet was very good. Good selection. Front desk staff was very friendly and courteous. A bit of a walk for restaurants and shopping, but area was nice area to walk.

Upon arrival at 9:00 pm witnessed a gunshot in the parking lot among arguing individuals. We returned to the car and left. Unfortunately this is Indianapolis today! Terrible Mayor and Police leadership. Gun violence is all over Indy now. BTW I am a lifelong member of the NRA. It's not the gun that makes the choice.

$30 for parking. Description says “parking available”. If you’re going to have to pay for parking it should be included in the price or description. Not something that gets rammed up your a after it’s too late to do anything about it.

It took almost 2 hours to check in. Waiting in their lounge area for that time is ridiculous. We also did not have sufficient time then to get ready for our event.

They did not properly clean after the last guests checked out. Left a full trash can, and food in the refrigerator. Called down to the desk and 5 hours later, still no help. Went down myself and luckly Mr. Luke (Thank him for his service) went out of his way (wasn’t his job) to rectify this with the upmost professionalism and urgency. For 234$ a night my wife was severely disappointed.

The hotel was a little to find due to one way streets. We barely got to our room, tried to put the kids to bed and had to leave. Our youngest grandchild threw a fit because he didn't want lights on, and his brother did. The table lamp did not work, so all we had to use was the overhead bright light. Wasted trip.

Bought a room with a city view but it was mostly blocked, toilet never worked and had to use lobby restroom, a lady was mugged in the parking lot, no security, someone entered our room with announcing themselves

I love the fact that it is by the canal in downtown Indianapolis. It is fairly clean and the staff is very friendly and helpful.

This Residence inn is not at all comparable to the many other Residence Inns we have stayed at. This one is below par and over priced for the location. I do not recommend staying here. On top of the over stated room price, they charge $30.00 for parking each day. Properly is dated and the elevators extremely slow. Pull out bed was not made upon arrival. No lotion in room. No bar soap. Breakfast was below par and no snacks were put out at 500-7:00 pm. Not sure how they can call this a Residence Inn. I will never stay there again.

We enjoyed wallking on the Canal Walk every day. We were about 15 minute walk from downtown places, but were able to walk to Indiana State Museum on Canal Walk. Breakfast was good.

We were there for a swim meet with crazy time frames. The location was very close to IUPUI where the event was happening. There was a kitchen with a burner, full fridge and dishwasher…super convenient
