The carpet in the room felt dirty turned but couldn't tell it due to it being a dark color; caused bottom of feet to turn black. The shower rod was coming off the wall, so the curtain wouldn't stay closed to keep water from getting on the floor. The 2 lamps in the room each had defective bulbs and one of the lavatory outlets was not working; needs replacing. Appears most guests were all put on the same side of the hotel and numerous guests stayed outside partying until after 10 pm. The continental breakfast was very disappointing, with very little variety of items and coffee bottle ran out rather quickly. Staff was very friendly though and probably the best thing I can say about this hotel. I make this trip to Rockdale once a year and stay several days. Unless I have no choice, I will not stay here again.
