It was very clean and had a very comfortable bed. The shuttle drivers were delightful and helpful. The morning's check out clerk could have been warmer and more welcoming. Other than that, i was surprised that the TV menu did not include the tennis channel and that breakfast did not include scrambled eggs or omelets.

The customer service was amazing and welcoming. The room was immaculate and comfortable. It was very peaceful! The ONLY complaint I have is that there was only one elevator working. They were working on the other to update it. Other than that it was very good!

All of the staff was incredibly helpful with assisting us in navigating our way in to NYC and answering the multitude of questions our family had during our stay. Breakfast exceeded our expectations and was geared to meet a variety of dietary requirements.

A good middle ground from NJ to NY. Staff is lovely and were welcoming. Bed is firm and comfortable, bathrooms are clean and spacious.
My only cons were the breakfast - very small with select options, and the parking. It was too expensive to pay for parking especially with a lack of spots (since you compete with those paying for long term parking near the airport).

The bed was really comfortable and the room felt spacious and cozy. Staff was kind and helpful. Breakfast had some good options and was fresh and hot.
Unfortunately, the bathroom was not the cleanest. There were hairs in the sink and all over the shower. The elevator was also not working properly and kept taking me up instead of down. I tried to take the stairs, since it wouldn't have taken long to get down to the lobby, but the stairwell was locked. Most frustratingly, the airport shuttle did took so long that I ended up getting on a shuttle to a neighboring hotel and walking over.
Could've been worse, but definitely could've been better.

Primary issue was Fire Alarm went off 3 separate times between 2:30am and 3:30am. Each sounding was too loud to stay asleep.

I got bitten by bed bugs in room 326. When I approached the attendant at the front desk to report this, she offered an apology and said she will try and get $5 off my room rate.... not satisfactory.
never staying here again and reviewing my options to be compensated fairly for my inconvenience and loss.

Excellent faculties, airport shuttle... Only complaint is the lack of restaurants within walking from the hotel. Otherwise great stay option for one night!

The room was comfortable but curtains were not able to close to darken the room. The lights from outside brightened the room. Windows were noise blockers. We could hear all the noise from the busy road.
There are no restaurants close by within walking distance, so couldn’t have dinner. They only offer a few menus to order meals, we were not interested on any.

Not a bad hotel, the folks working there were nice and the room was clean. The shower was great, with no shortage of hot water and good water pressure.
the mattresses are old, in my opinion, and lumpy.
the location is a restaurant desert, so expect to drive unless you want to order in.

The breakfast was AMAZING. Crustless quiche, fried egg, two types of bacon, waffles, granola and nuts/seeds you could choose, bagels, yogurt, oatmeal. So many choices and very eco-friendly in their display.

We were flying into Newark International late into the night and when I called the hotel they told us to take Air Train and take a shuttle from Parking P4. However when we went to the Airtrain stop it was closed and we were asked to take a bus. It was not so straightforward finding the bus stop and we finally got to the shuttle stop. Seems like the hotel staff were clueless about this but I understand it could be a one day thing. The property is outdated and dusty and smelly. We got a room on the sixth floor and one of the elevators was down. This elevator was from the earlier century and extremely slow. We got into the room and it was reasonably decent size but stuffy. It was already 1:30am and we were getting ready to crash and checked the heater temp. It was off and I turned it on and put temp at 72 and waiting for the room to warm up. However it was just blowing cold air. Thought maybe be 72 was not wake enough and I increased thermostat to 85 but still cold air. Called
Front desk and they tell me that there is no one to take a look at it and they will just send some blankets. It is 22f outside and they think it is ok to just survive with couple of blankets. They told me they will put a complaint to their manager but nothing about refund or any space heater. I had to scream and request for atleast a space heater as it was freezing. Finally they gave a space heater and blankets. It was very noisy and the room was stuffy couldn’t get sleep through the night. Help needed.

During our stay, we experienced significant service delays, notably in the provision of towels. Despite making four separate requests and being assured of prompt delivery, we waited over 30 minutes without receiving them. Additionally, the cleanliness of our accommodations was below expectations. The bed linens appeared unchanged upon our arrival, and, regrettably, we discovered unsanitary conditions, including urine on the seating. Furthermore, the air conditioning system was markedly inefficient, resulting in uncomfortably long waits for the room to cool. These issues collectively marred our experience and raised concerns about the hotel's commitment to guest comfort and hygiene standards.

The hotel is good for sleep, but the odor of the bathroom was not good. There were noise in the hall, but I think that the problem was the guest. The transfer offer is good, but the staff not explain good!

There’s roaches here the first night we stay saw road on the bed and night table also the phone wasn’t working to call downstairs to complain when we finally call they act like they were surprised also they offer to switch the room , and the AC doesn’t work they charge for parking ,yet still no parking wouldn’t recommend

Parking or the lack thereof was horrible. . The night crew told us we could park in the spot but in the morning the shuttle driver was irritated that we were parked there and was screaming at us as if were we his kids .We tried to explain to him we were told we could park there & he was adamant that no one
could have told us to park there. Night check in crew was great. This was very close to the airport .

Waited for shuttle at airport longer than we need to…we were told to look for a white shuttle marked Fairfield, but the front of the shuttle was blue and said Home, so we didn’t take it. After calling again the desk clerk reiterated the information, again leaving out the part about the dual signage.

I stayed at the hotel 10 days ago, and had reserved for my return today. However, my earlier stay was horrible and when I tried to cancel the 2nd stay, I was refused. The filthy brown water that came out of the shower made it impossible to consider a second stay. No one was at check out when I left, so later in the day I contacted Expedia, they put me in touch with the hotel. Whoever responded to the message rudely refused to cancel my 10 day in the future reservation. They maintained my complaint should have been made at the hotel at check out. When I explained no one was at the desk, and I had a Lyft waiting their response was "too bad" that's our policy. Expedia would not intervene, the best they could do was offer me $16 in travel credit! This is a serious health issue with the water supply, and the dark brown water flows through the same pipes as the drinking water! I'm so unhappy with the hotel and with Expedia, I'll just book direct with hotels in the future. And I won't be staying at Marriott chains either, unless I get some positive response from Marriott corporate, who I plan to contact when I'm back home. Even though I've been charged for the return stay at this Fairfield, I booked another room at the Hilton. I'm here now, it's head and shoulders above that horrible Fairfield Inn. Stay away!

This is a nice, clean hotel with friendly personnel that's appropriate for a business stay or a family stay. It's a 5-minute shuttle-bus ride from the P4 AirTrain stop at Newark airport, so it's very easy to get to. It's not noisy, even though it's close to the airport. Breakfast in the hotel is enough to get your day started.
