Inspite of being in the hotel business for a long time, Howard Johnson still has a good cleanliness standard , welcoming front desk and staff and one of the lowest pricing. Aside from being so conveniently near the Newark Airport, it also has so much room for parking.

The property was located in a rough area. Once I parked and went inside, I relaxed. The property was pretty well kept and a good buy. I waited until the Friday of the Memorial Day weekend to reserved two nights and it was a great buy. The housekeeping staff was very accommodating. Overall, it was a good experience for the price.
