Love the hotel just need to get the homeless away

Overall, you get what you pay for, but this place isn’t too bad. There were no bedbugs and I only saw one baby roach in the toilet. The countertop was new on the sink and looked nice. The bedding looked clean and newish, but there is no comforter, the blanket is thin. The bed isn’t super supportive and we woke up with back stiffness. The floors are so thin if someone walks by outside you can feel it in your room. The walls are thin and you can clearly hear people next door and outside. There are definitely people loitering around and homeless people around. The room had a working mini fridge, which was convenient. But it was clean, the outside was well lit, check in and out was smooth and easy, it was budget priced, and worked for a one night overnight stay on a road trip.

The staff was awesome.

We reserved a non-smoking room and were given a smoking room. As a non smoker it really dampens the enjoyment of your stay. The smell of smoke was overwhelming and there were burn holes in the bed cover.

The people working at the facility were very helpful and attentive. The rooms clean. Understand this is a value motel so I’m not comparing this to a 4 and 5 star resort but felt what I spent for the room was fair.

There are so many cockroaches in the room, some small, some big. Unbelievable! My friend was too scared to sleep in bed, so that he spent the night in the car. Only three lights in the room, but two of them were broken. It is ~$211/ night, but this condition is terrible .

We should not have been given this room. There was an awful smell like dead fish as soon as we entered and flies were everywhere. There was clearly a ton of water damage in the ceiling above the shower. It was bowing so much that it was about to break. The bathroom floor had water all over it that had leaked from the room above us. It smelled strongly of urine. We left without staying the night.

Door would not open, fire safety and roaches

Broken TV, only 1 set towels for 2 people, strange odor in room, front desk didn't answer phone, no tissues, only one small trash can for all areas.

Check in was easy and the guy was nice. The hotel, however is really very basic. No blanket, towels are extremely thin like paper, no small refrigerator, AC is noisy. Urgent need for upgrade

This place is disgusting. Bad neighborhood, room was infested with cockroaches, prostitutes wandered the property at night, and dog feces all over the the dog area. Funny that it's next door to the health department. Spend a little more and stay somewhere else. Although cheap, it was not worth it.

Bed, and room was nice. Not good lighting in the room. Not enough receptacles for chargers.

Very good all around cleanliness, personal very comfortable to deal with. The whole property very clean.

I like the property and stayed there in previous years. What I don't like is that most of Albuquerque, New Mexico has a problem with homeless people

No microwave and freezer where we choose during book. Nothing is available. Dirty bed and all the stuff in the room.

It felt like home

This place says pet friendly but no grassy area for pets to go pee or poop.

I entered my room, there was food on the walls, paint chipped away , then when I went to go out to have a cigarette, I found I could not exist my room and was trapped, I called the front desk who after 10 mins sent a worker to open the mangled door that was obviously not safe! And if that was not enough, the property charges a $50 deposit that was not listed, & and sure as hell not maintained , I am pretty sure there is at least one meth lab here... motel 6’s have become the 9th ring of Dante’s inferno!

No fridge, microwabe, or coffee. Tub dirty. Shower curtain broken.

Liked that I was able to park right in front of my room. People were up all night making noise and talking on cell phones in parking lot. Grounds around motel are very small and guests don't clean up after their pets.

Motel 6 as expected

Very clean but not in the safest area

We were driving 12 hours each day on our road trip back home from CA with our 2 well traveled dogs. We chose this motel for the location just off the highway, economical pricing and pet friendly policy. The room itself was decent with no bugs or odors. Upon our late check in at 9pm, we checked in easily, but soon had to return to the office to ask for a roll of toilet tissue as the room did not have any. What I liked: location; off freeway near food/gas. Price, cheap with no pet fees. We got what we wanted from this motel, a place to sleep, so it served its purpose. Would we stay again? No, because there are other options. But if it were the only motel, guess we would have a choice. We ate a late meal, watched some tv, slept and freshened up for our departure at 7am. No frills hotel - no shampoo/conditioner, no coffee maker, no microwave/refrigerator but we knew that ahead and didn’t need those things since we bought dinner and travel with an ice chest.

It was probably a quarter after 3pm when checked in in. Check-in time is at 3, rooms weren't ready. The boy at cash register was upset at me n a lady that were late. The rooms weren't ready is what we were told. The boy wasn't wanting to deal with us told us to come BK in an hour. We had things to do get ready And so forth. After complaining about rooms not ready even though we were late the boy left and checked us in. I didn't know what the whole rooms aren't ready yet by 3 checkin time situation was about . Finally got checked in room was clean n eveything. Still have a question on why he didn't want us to check in. Although other staff was ni e and amazing

No soap (had to use hand sanitizer after bathroom use) Saw a road that ran behind the headboard. I could not sleep for hours. GROSS!!

Horrible place room was dirty no hot water rude staff

God awful place. Told room was non-smoking but smelled of the stench of smoke. Cigarette burns in sheets. The worst hotel I have ever stayed in. Area was extremely dangerous despite a Rudy’s BBQ nearby. Police sirens throughout the night.
